Last night we received an email from Air New Zealand informing us that our August flights to the Cook Islands (Rarotonga and Aitutaki) have been canceled. Bugger! I was so looking forward to escaping our winter.

You know those coin operated binocular viewers at Niagara Falls? About 5-6 years ago, I had one shipped all the way out here to New Zealand, where it now proudly sits on the deck, overlooking Tasman Bay. (Had a couple motorbikes shipped down here too, through the years.) Best advice about shipping and freighting is to keep asking and searching around. Chances are you'll find a deal.

I could be wrong, but I think a few of you may be comparing an increase of TOTAL Covid-19 cases with Daily New Cases of Covid-19.

Would you happen to have a link to the NBC story? I just searched their website and couldn't find it. I agree with you all that it is simply shocking how different news organizations can paint such a different picture of EVERYTHING. During a global pandemic, nothing is more important than facts and the truth.
