I would describe Epenesa as "plodding." Definitely not a dynamic pass rusher (otherwise wouldn't have been available here). I am not a fan.
For those talking about RB-- I loved Dobbins, but knew the Bills wouldn't address the position in the 2nd round
I don't expect there to be any effective treatment or a vaccine in the time frame we are looking at, so my answer is "No." Pending something unforeseen, of course.
I'd be shocked if the league started on time. The only possibility I can imagine right now would be games without fans (or maybe neutral sites where the disease is under control?--wherever that might be).
A true great, who deserves HOF consideration, imo. With the type of athlete he was, I think he would have been successful in today's game. He was also the nicest guy you'd want to meet, off the field. RIP, Mike.
Cuomo is really a great listen-- can't get enough. At any rate, some projections do have us dealing with this for close to a year. If that is the case, no sports this year. I chose "delayed," with the option to switch to cancelled if there is not a hint of gaining some ground in the next few months.
My main point was this is all contingent on Allen. Cleveland loaded up on talent last year, and was supposedly Super Bowl-bound. Didn't work, as Mayfield took a step back. Also, it wasn't just a 1st rounder for Diggs-- it was a bunch of picks (including next year's 4th-- you can get a good player there). Also tough when looking at the Hopkins trade.
This year's draft is receiver-rich. The Bills could have picked an edge rusher in the 1st, and then picked a good receiver in the 2nd. I don't dislike the trade. It is clear Beane and McDermott see an opportunity to "go for it" now. Hopefully it pays off in a big season.
I hate losing a 1st, and have concern about how Diggs will react if Allen has trouble hitting him (relationship with Cousins had soured). Whether this trade will be a success depends on the QB upping his game.
Hate giving up a 1st (Bills desperately need a couple edge rushers). Also, Diggs had issues with cousins. How is he going to get along with Allen, who tends to (on the rare occasion), have some accuracy issues?
NHL will be next. Will the Baseball season even start? This is obviously much bigger than sports-- nothing like this has turned the world upside down in our lifetimes.
Ok-- he had one big running play, and a catch that didn't count. His upper body strength is sub-par, and many feel he will not stand up to the abuse he will take from NFL defensive backs. Plus, I hear he needs a lot of rest.
