    The question about Phillips is how he comes off the knee injury. He was never in danger of losing a roster spot--- was actually outplaying Star and taking time away from him, before being injured.

    Playing in the Spring is a joke. As others pointed out, the top prospects will sit and wait to be drafted (e.g., Justin Fields of Ohio St.). Stinks that he only had the one year at OSU. With this decision, they should shut it down until next Fall.

    Honestly, I don't believe the "bubble" idea would work for football (unless they shortened the season to 10 games). Likely have to be less than 10.

    Leadership at the top is terrible in baseball and fb (Manfred and Goodell). They seem to have blinders on-- just plow ahead and somehow it will all work out.

    With how quickly they reached an agreement on terms for getting things going, it is clear they are determined to play. How this ultimately plays out is the question .

    A bubble is unrealistic for an entire FB season, imo. The only true answer is an effective vaccine-- and that is too far off.

    Emmert's comments today about how everything is dependent on getting the virus under more control and how things are trending badly are pointing to no fall FB, and maybe let's see how things look in the spring (so it seems).

    There has been talk about moving college football to the spring. With the numbers in so many states looking so bad of late, I find it hard to see how the NFL will go off as scheduled.
