My guess is yes. I believe it is his parting gift to Kraft, and in return, the new contract he signed will pay him handsomely when he is gone. The fair weather Patriot fans would destroy a new coach if he was bad enough to get a top 5 draft pick, but for the most part, they have to be patient with Belicheck, because of his past success. They will get a high draft pick (QB) and new coach for a fresh start next season, and Bill rides off into the sunset, to spend his new found money. Now I just hope they miss on the QB, and suck for the next decade or so...

I don’t disagree, but remember, sometimes is takes a wow move, to get open for the easy catch. Diggs has several of those so far this year.

Normally I would disagree, but I have to believe coaches would be lining up for a chance to coach Allen. A talent like his does not come around very often. That said, I have no idea who would count as a "splash hire" these days.

He was jinxed by the referee in the mic'd up video last year, that asked him how he bends around the corner so low, and he said "I try not to think about it". Rat bastard.

Which, without pressure up the middle, is putting him 10 yard behind the QB when he rushes. If someone (Joseph maybe?) could get a push up the middle, Von will get much closer.

I noticed the stare as well. There was no fire left in him, he just wanted to be anywhere but there.

Yup. I believe we need to win 4 out of the next 6 to make the playoffs. If one of those 4 wins is against the Dolphins, that will be even better.

I believe it is quite possible that Miami only wins 4 more. I think they will lose to the Jets in NJ, plus Dallas, Baltimore and Buffalo. Perhaps just wishful thinking, but I could see it happening that way.

They will most likely lose 3 or 4 of those games. They struggle against "play-off level" teams. (Bills, Ravens, Cowboys) and the Jets Defense will beat them at least once out of their 2. ps - I personally believe that we MUST win the second game against the Fins. That tie breaker could end up being important.

Oh man, I have kind of enjoyed the past few seasons, where we didn't need to breakdown all of the scenarios that it would take to make the play-offs. That was a short lived reprieve.
