Is saying this created $33 million in cap space, accurate? From what I’ve seen, they only have roughly $7.5 million in available cap this year. Still enough to sign Dalvin Cook, but not quite what it first appeared to be.
Can you imagine having unlimited cap space and draft picks to make this fantasy a reality? Me neither. That is why I appreciate Beane’s endless pursuit for diamonds in the rough, to make it all work, while paying our elite players what they deserve.
