The funniest thing is some people are so irrational about Davis they think this could be an upgrade.

Wow, a mom stands up for our kid, who is about to get the contract of his life time! How does anyone get mad at her for it? I’m sure there are a bunch of losers who harassed for daring to speak up for her son! Davis isn’t a legit 2. It’s prettt clear. But he has been a helluva a 4th round pick; has had some really big moments in clutch spots; blocks his butt off (a lot of wrs won’t do this); and is so respected he’s a captain while not being a star. Why people hate on the dude is weird to me. All the receivers production has fallen off since Brady has been the OC. It’s been a different offense. I haven’t Gabe say a word but with receivers, stats is a big part of their salaries so I can see the frustration. Guys who go further down field have lower catch % than say a slot guy. not saying Gabe has the best hands but his targets are a lot more difficult than say Cole Beasley’s were.

I hope you’re roght. Honestly, the bye week situation just seemed like the icing on the cake a bad FA signing (I get why). but the guy is getting old and struggles to stay healthy. Age and injuries are a bad combo in the nfl. Look at Mario Williams. He had 38 sacks in 3 years here and was out of the league 2 years later. Poyer might be on the same path. The nfl is the most unforgivable sport around.

Look, he got screwed but do we need any distraction for a punter? I think he’s also a punter a position teams don’t really care about. If he was Josh Allen, he would still be on the time. It sucks but that’s the reality of the situation. The better you are and more important position you play, teams will be more patient and let the facts play out.

Yeah, Schein has done a poor job. Daboll is a good coach but needs to work on his people skills. I think the biggest reason Belichick guys fail is they try to be like that grumpy old man without his resume.

They deserve a ton of discredit for paying Jones though when both of their backups look just as good as him. but they haven’t given up and that’s positive. But it’s pretty sad their lack of talent and I think offensive coaches get a big say in that. We’ll see how next year goes.

Allen has the better shot but had to give a mvp to a team with at least 6 losses. id go with McCaffery. I don’t think any qb has been mind blowingly good and I think the 49ers fall apart without CMC.

I can’t see Davis being back on the time unless he took a major hometown discount. I do think they like him more than the fans do (great blocker, good team guy). But he has proven he’s not consistent enough to be a number 2 and is a position they definitely need to upgrade and the fact it would be much cheaper is a bonus.

Still going with F, waiting on M, but not K yet. thought it was an amazing first half but had one of those Dorsey’s halves where they get stagnant. Would love to see more consistency.

Who told you to shut up about dropped passes haha? my whole thing is why we just decided that our offensive group is so bad. We have a top 5 receiver; a 1st round TE who is awesome; a 2nd round rb who can only be stopped by our OC; and a vastly improved o line (top paid OT & C, 2nd round G, and a FA signing). Second we could definitely be upgraded but honestly, it’s a pretty solid group. He wasn’t great but he was the higher rated qb. bottom line is both qbs (I actually think Allen did more because of his rushing) probably could have won that game. I think the bills have a better supporting cast now and KC has a better defense. but who cares because we won and that’s all that matters.

Eh, it’s a great win and Allen made some amazing plays. Don’t really agree with all of your point but don’t want to argue after a good win. but I won’t trade our players around our qb for theirs and I think most fanbases would agree. They have a bottom 5 group and their best best player (while still very good) isn’t quite the same at 34.

Brady would have stormed off the field and not even shaking his hand. Mahomes acted like a huge baby but they’re boys. and even though he still makes too many of those “oh no” plays he makes so many of those wow plays, you just have to live with it. I would like to see it be a little more consistent but it’s a great finally to have one of those guys who can do everything and you onow you can beat any team. Special dude.
