  1. Higher career bills qb rating than Jim Kelly (which shows how stupid that stat can be)!
  2. Has anyone rebound from this type of injury this late in their career, who wasn’t a qb? I hope you’re right but his career was very much on the downhill before this injury anyways.
  3. I actually really like the guy and would take him in a second as a backup. He’s just limited physically and while he can get away with it for a game or 2, ultimately, it catches up to him. tough dude and will make a lot of money hanging around for like 10 years plus. Agree. Love the way he plays. He plays the way I wish EJ played. You can’t use the excuse about talent around him because he has 3 really good WRs around him. i will be in the minority but i think EB has done as good of a job as you can expect.
  4. Or you’re just saying dumb things like you always do. You’re the only smart person in this thread!
  5. I defended Tre because corner is such a hard position and it takes about 2 years to make it back. Thats why it was heart breaking when he got hurt again because he was playing like himself again. im not defending Von because of his allegations (even if he didn’t do “anything,” he’s a moron for staying with this person) and how many guys are bouncing back from that injury at 35? It’s blind faith based on nothing. I still get why we did it but it was always going to be a bad contract as he aged. I just wish he had a legit stud pass rusher. I can’t believe it’s been this hard to find one.
  6. Now you’re right. You’re the only smart here. Keep defending the guy on his 3rd domestic violence allegation; has 3 tackles this year (lack of sacks is one thing but tackles is effort); and is making $20 million/ year. But a genius like you knows that guys who about to turn 35 tend to bounce back after a major injury and become great again. thank you for educating us with your wisdom. You’re so much smarter than us. Clearly he is making a huge impact on the defense. Dude is completely washed but suckers will keep defending him. He was so good 5 years ago!
  7. He averaged 136 yards passing/ game (he’s also 25). Nice story and he will eat off for a long time but he is a borderline nfl qb (which is still pretty awesome).
  8. True. I can also see him making a game changing play against Marino in the finale as well!
  9. I wonder what Zack Wilson got his o line. I would take a free one but never got the fascination. I wear an Apple Watch anyways (though I lused to collect watches).
  10. Not as much as fans want to think. He rushes like 2 yards up field, gets no where and stops.
  11. His injury sucks but it was already an insanely risky deal. He’s old, his production has been inconsistent, and he has his 3rd domestic violence allegation against him. Oh yeah, he’s making $120 million and is essentially untradable. when Milano and White come back next year, I’ll cut them a ton of slack. But not Miller. It’s an awful contract and he has made it even worse.
  12. Honestly, we see why they never let Russ cook. Dude is just a game manager. Payton looks very overrated as well though. might be the worst trade in history given the cost and his salary. his ego is too big to not be a problem as a backup. I could see the Steelers kicking the tires on him. He actually might be a good fit there.
  13. Um, have you ever seen us? Every fan base is like this. Miami is so indifferent. It’s actually nice to have a rivalry again and for them to care. It’s also fun because they are getting their hopes up just to be severely disappointed. youre allowed as fans to be excited when your team does good! I can definitely see this. The Ravens should remember their last game against Miami where they blew the game late and can clinch the number 1 seed and potentially two games off (won’t have to play their starters week 18).
  14. I got an Allen Funko Pop and an Andre Reed Rookie card.
  15. I agree with you. Rivera is “trying” to save his job and is desperate for wins. Tommy Devito 🤌 was a nice story but he was pretty terrible and might not be in the league next year. Daboll’s job is safe but coaches and players still want to win. Those 2 guys give you a much better chance at that. personally, I think Taylor and Brissett should be allowed to be traded to a playoff contender team that needs a qb right now. Howell will be the next Gardner/ Fitz. Good in spot starts but gets worst the more he plays. He will have a nice career as a backup but he’s not a starter. tommy D should milk the pizzerias for money because he’s a borderline nfl qb.
  16. I like this point but I think we definitely win 7/8 with Care because that’s who he is. Hes the definition of average and we have a good supporting cast around Allen, even if the number 2 spot could be upgraded. but we aren’t SB contenders with him.
  17. That’s a huge product of Lamar and how terrifying he is running the ball. Flowers is good but they are scrub central after him with Edwards out. Your Lamar take is awful. this year is tough. If Pitt had a better record, I’d put Watt up there. But I’d go CMC/ Lamar whoever finishes with division Allen/ Tua Dak because of stats though they are frauds Watt csnt vote for hill because he’s a trash person but he might be the most deserving with CMC. Lamar is so under appreciated on this board but this should be a non qb year.
  18. But it’s really not. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/awards/ap-nfl-mvp-award.htm in the last 15 years (could more but I didn’t feel like checking), the MVP winners averages 12/13 wins. One was Matt Ryan, which could be Allen’s best case, who went 11-5 and beat out Brady (28 td/ 2 ints 14-2, best the Falcons in the SB) and Peterson who had 2,000 yards. also besides Mahomes, most MVPs don’t win the SB so do we even want Allen to win it? This a bills board haha.
  19. Find this hard to believe. There would be a riot on this board if that was the case and I’d lead it. mVP tends to go to the best player on the best team. I guess we’ll see if history is made this year. I put some money in Allen so I’m be happy haha. But I just want playoff success ultimately.
  20. So if the Bills were the most consistent team from start to finish; had to go the whole season without Cook; Diggs missed 3 games; and we had the lead for basically 95% of games, you would think Lamar was the mvp with a worse record but better stats?
  21. Their defense is 1st while our awful defense is 4th!!!! https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2023/opp.htm our offense averages 2 more yards/ game while we have a better Wr1, possibly wr2 (obj is washed), a better rb, and haven’t had their star TE for 3 games. https://www.espn.com/nfl/stats/team I think Allen is the better overall qb. I just think this board hates to give Lamar credit. He needs to prove it in the playoffs but his impact on them is undeniable. If the Bills were challenging for the 1 seed, Allen is the favorite. But they aren’t and it’s been a super inconsistent season.
  22. Since we have good teams mainly left, I feel great!
  23. McDermott and a pick for Reid, who says no?
  24. Can’t disagree except that the Ravens stomped them. But this should be a non qb year.
