If they somehow went on a crazy run, it would be like how can we ever beat them. dallas - the deep throating by the media and seeing cryptic keeper Jones face everywhere would be annoying, Miami - the thing about them being good (but frauds) is you realize they actually have fans and they are super annoying, I was all on board with Cleveland or Detroit if we can’t but that would be one more team that wins it before us. so in conclusion if the Bills don’t win it, I want no one to.

This is where I think the team part of football gets forgotten. The offense was bad for like 75% of that game. Put the defense on tough spots (defense also has improved since that game). zero excuse to let Jones to let drive down the field like that. But this year, given the injuries and high priced guys on offense (that matters), I expect a lot more out of the offense. It’s been really inconsistent for the players we have.

I think he is a solid coach and his specialty, defense, has been really good there. He got failed by Wilson and depending on a 40 year qb. If they had middle of road qb play, they would have made a playoff push. Rodgers just wants to have control over everything. Hackett probably lets him do whatever he wants and laughs at his weird thoughts.

As someone who thinks he totally got scapegoated here, I would not want him as a head coach. Too nice. I think a team like the chargers would be his best chance. But they should go with an offensive coach and just hire a proved DC. no one cares about that team anyways. And they will be completely overhyped next year only to not do a thing.

In a game we were losing the entire game again. Find me any games where JONES OR Wilson rallied when down by double digits. If you put those guys in situations where they have to pass to win, they can’t do it.

The Bills could have put away games in the first half if there weren’t such an up and down offense. Teams naturally take the air out of the ball when they have leads.

I remember seeing him on this giant bike on the beach in Cali. Seemed like the happiest man on the planet. Dude has found the foundation of youth but I’m shocked at how old he is. a legit great coach who has nothing left to prove. He is still is one of the best coaches in the league. Seattle is about to get a huge wake up call. And sexiest. Belichick the GM killed Belichick the coach. He is one of the worst GMs in the league. If he focuses on coaching, he is still one of the best.

At the same point, Lamar and the Ravens have been the most consistent team all year. They take leads early and just win games. I can’t definitely see Allen having worst td numbers, cutting down on turnovers, and winning the MVP.

Agree with this 100%. I do think him being a 2 time MVP this early is a little crazy but this was a flawed year. but if people think Allen gets criticized, they should look at Lamar. Heisman trophy winner who some thought should switch poo. If they flame out this year, he will get absolutely crushed. I don’t think any reasonable person disagrees with that.

I don’t think you know what passive aggressive means. Everything I said was a fact. QBs get way too much credit and blame for everything. It’s the job. Of course him getting paid a lot makes a huge difference. You give rookie Josh passes on things that this Josh doesn’t get. and Allen is a great leader. But he also knows he makes some poor decisions. This offense has been very inconsistent and it has cost us games. I think we can beat any team in the league. We also lose to any as well. Inconsistent offense and turnovers would be a major reason why. And this is why it will fall in Allen since he is the leader of the team. we fired the DC of the Bills after multiple top 5 seasons. People wanted McDermott gone. Idiots are talking about firing the Eagles head coach. When you have expectations, the standard gets raised. Every bills fan knows how lucky we are to have Allen. But to achieve this team’s full potential, we need to cut down on the negative stuff. i don’t know why you make this such a personal thing. See, this drives me crazy. If we had better, consistent offense, we don’t need to rally against terrible teams like the Jets, Pats, Chargers, and Broncos,l. Our depleted defense kept us in those games. They didn’t need to be close.

We scored 14 points without their 3 best pass rushers. This is after lack luster efforts against the Chargers and Pats. allen is amazing. But let’s stop pretending like this is some well oil machine and the turnovers aren’t hurting us. A lot of good qbs suck early in the playoffs. Elway didn’t win a SB until he was like 38. But Lamar has a ton of pressure on him this playoffs. It’s still a regular season award. People who say a backup could do as good as Lamar are flat out liars.

This thread is such a microcosm of our society. It’s either all or nothing. If you are critical of something, you must hate them. If you are too positive, you are biased. allen is better than I could have ever imagined in my wildest dreams. I hate prospects like him - all the “tools,” not great production. Those guys fail 99% of the time. Allen has become a top 3 qb and it’s absolutely amazing. We are beyond fortunate to have him. that said, he is getting paid a ton of money so you are allowed to be critical. That was a depleted Miami team playing without 2 of their best pass rushers and lost another good one during the game. We scored 14 points on offense and Allen’s turnovers were a big reason why. If it was a one time thing, you let it go. But it’s been a pattern. Allen makes some of the most spectacular plays I have ever seen. And ints are going to happen because he takes chances. But some of you are kind delusional about how they hurt these team. We have lost or barely beaten bad teams because of our offense and the mistakes we have made. I am beyond happy to have Allen and to win another division. This is the best period of bills football since I was a little kid. This team can legitimately win the SB. But if also can lose to Pittsburgh (doubtful but still) if they keep beating themselves.
