Barnwell has Bills at 6 wins in 2019

So the plan was to Draft a raw rookie, only keep a 2nd year qb who was historically awful, and then not really devote for resources to the offense??? Does that make you feel better about them going forward? -
EJ Manuel left the field with a lead against the Pats. So that’s my vote.

David Culley (former Bills QB coach) gone- to Ravens

I like this type of thinking. A guy with proven success. And it is definitely a guy who would take the job. -

Aaron freaking Rodgers got upset when they let their qb coach go without telling him. It’s huge man. Allen needs as many resources as possible. -
Eh. This stuff is so overrated. Put me in charge of the Bills and we would have no problem getting free agents. 1) you build team through the draft anyways and use FA to supplement your roster 2) what FA that would have matter significantly refused to come to Buffalo 3) I’d argue the fact that we suck for the last 15 years is a bigger reason than the weather. NE has no problem with FAs.

They cut Foster, Teller has a lot to prove, and I like Dawkins but there are questions about him as a long term LT. i will not question them defensively with moves. They been really good. But they suck on the offensive side of the ball. -
AlphaMock V1 - 4 round mock (pre combine)

There’s a reason he never lasts on a team more than a year. I think we get too sentimental with players. If he wasn’t a former Bill, we won’t even know him. -

That’s childish. I didn’t want Allen before draft bit my opinion of Rosen had no impact on how I viewed Allen. He was exciting but had some serious flaws. I thought Rosen would be better out of the gate so he has a ton of work to do. -

Thompson is not a good nfl receiver. -

He could have an awesome life and live on the beach. I think people underestimate how much coaching kinda sucks, especially in the nfl. You work insane hours only to probsbly get fires in a few years. -
Man, I know nothing about o linemen. I never heard of him. We need to build an oline but I’ll be honest. O line talk is so boring. But thank you to the posters who know what they are talking about. my amateur opinion is get o linemen who are smart, tough, and mobile. No slow, soft, dummies need apply.

Good point. It’s better to remain silent and be thought of as a fool than speak and remove all doubt. It’s why I think draft “experts” should never leave those jobs. You can’t get fires if you miss on TV. -

They traded up for Zay. They traded for Jordan Matthews. They signed Kerley and cut him. They signed Boldin. They already are on OC #2. They paid a 30 yo back up rb $3 million. they have sucked on offensive moves. They need to be much, much, much better. -

Yeah, I only saw a few of their guys but I was super impressed by him. Plus, he knows that Pam from the office sucks, so that’s a plus! -

Are we even sure Palmer is a good coach? They are a ton of qb coaches and their main job is getting these guys ready for camps and combines. But rarely do nfl teams ever hire them. Personally, I want a guy with proven nfl or at least high level college success. We are hoping Daboll, a guy who has been a bottom 5 OC in the nfl almost every year, will get better. Let’s not do the same thing with a qb coach. It’s too important. -

I’ve been super consistent, though I realize most fans don’t like to be objective. Baker is the only qb I’d bet on being a franchise qb at this point. Darnold is probably next but his turnovers need to be controlled. Then, I have Allen, Jackson, and Rosen as needs to improve. I liked that Arizona went all in on an offensive coach. Personally, I think we are settling for Daboll and could have gotten a better OC for Allen but we will see. -

I get your point but I’m not sure how I feel about that. Coaching is a lot different than giving pointers as a player. Allen badly needs a guy who has a track record of success working with Qbs. It’s too important to just settle. -

Well, it was a point difference. And the Arizona talk was because Kliff said he liked Murray a lot 3 years ago. -

I hope so. It’s so important for Allen. Admittedly, I’m hesitate on Allen because of the way this franchise has handled young QBs in the past. They gave EJ the Cuse first time OC as both his OC and QB coach his rookie year. Allen needs good coaching around him. I think they screwed up last year when they kept only Peterman. I’m also not sold on Daboll and think we could easily upgrade that. But the QB coach should be a huge priority for such a raw guy.
