Are we even sure Palmer is a good coach? They are a ton of qb coaches and their main job is getting these guys ready for camps and combines. But rarely do nfl teams ever hire them. Personally, I want a guy with proven nfl or at least high level college success. We are hoping Daboll, a guy who has been a bottom 5 OC in the nfl almost every year, will get better. Let’s not do the same thing with a qb coach. It’s too important.

I’ve been super consistent, though I realize most fans don’t like to be objective. Baker is the only qb I’d bet on being a franchise qb at this point. Darnold is probably next but his turnovers need to be controlled. Then, I have Allen, Jackson, and Rosen as needs to improve. I liked that Arizona went all in on an offensive coach. Personally, I think we are settling for Daboll and could have gotten a better OC for Allen but we will see.

I get your point but I’m not sure how I feel about that. Coaching is a lot different than giving pointers as a player. Allen badly needs a guy who has a track record of success working with Qbs. It’s too important to just settle.

Well, it was a point difference. And the Arizona talk was because Kliff said he liked Murray a lot 3 years ago.

I hope so. It’s so important for Allen. Admittedly, I’m hesitate on Allen because of the way this franchise has handled young QBs in the past. They gave EJ the Cuse first time OC as both his OC and QB coach his rookie year. Allen needs good coaching around him. I think they screwed up last year when they kept only Peterman. I’m also not sold on Daboll and think we could easily upgrade that. But the QB coach should be a huge priority for such a raw guy.

Agreed but they will kill it in Vegas. Games will sell out almost because of visiting team fan bases. Talk about a great road trip.

I mean re read the first part again. You guys are really surprised national media isn’t going crazy about Allen? and the same thing is happening in Arizona with Rosen. Most people here say Rosen sucks but they are doing the same thing with him than we are doing with Allen.

Imagine giving up 2 draft picks for him!

The guys who were around in Carolina, when he was fat and out of shape, traded for him. Why are we so sure they won’t make the same mistake again? im good with them on defensive moves but it’s just assumed they will be better on offense. They have been awful with that. As a former homer, I’ve made the same argument for each of the last Bills regime’s 3rd year.

Some things, I can’t overlook. That video is awful if he is a midget. He is a monster beating a women. It makes me sick that Joe Mixon is in the league. The nfl’s priorities are so jacked up. i don’t care about the Bills winning that badly where I can root for a guy like that. Don’t worry, the Cowboys will give him a chance.

I hate grouping school together but I think Oklahoma has a high track record of success for nfl olinemen. Brown had a terrible combine last year and became a starter as a rookie on a playoff team.

Sensitive. You’re right. Bills fans are super objective over Rosen, Jackson, and Darnold. You’re a homer and it’s great. I used to be and I’m objective. But while he was certainly was exciting, Allen has a bunch of work to do as do all the other rookie QBs.

Because Simmons beats women. But for the nfl, that really isn’t a red flag.

I’d take that bet. I definitely think he’s going in the 1st. He’s a stud and his qb was garbage.

If Josh Allen was on any other team, we would think he was a bad qb.

Love the first 2 picks and don’t know anything about the other two. I don’t think there’s anyway Ford lasts until the 2nd. He will go in the first on name alone. And I think Harry is a flat out stud and was held back by a bad qb. Really like Hakeem Butler as well.

He’s actually pretty good at predicting things if you don’t pretend he just hates the Bills. Super boring podcast but he is one of the best analytical nerds out there. Still a winning record!

I would guess a lot of posters here look a lot like Barnwell (not me, I’m extremely handsome and in good shape).

Not knocking his talent but a guy on a loaded defensive line like Clemson or Alabama scares me. These guys have it so much easier than a guy like ED Oliver.

It’s sad but some fans always blame the player. The coach was trying to rip his jacket off because he wasn’t playing. He easily could have pulled himself or had anothe coach talk to him. He was looking to embarrass him on national tv. given all the things some players do, it seems little a petty think to knock a guy for when I don’t think he has ever had any other issues.

Agreed. Just something to talk about I guess. It would be interesting to see how it ended up matching up after the season. But this would be the time to bet on the Bills if you feel really strong about their over.

I think the schedule is pretty much known at this point. We just don’t know how good the teams will be right now.

I’m telling you man, it’s not. Feel free to look back. Turnovers, especially fumbles, are fairly fluky. and my main point of the defense is, as weird as it sounds, a better offense will hurt defense stats. The Rams have a better defense than the stats indicated but teams can’t just go into kill the clock mood agaisntvthem.

Funny, Houston fired the coach. If a jacket bothers you that much, don’t dig too deep on past Bills teams. There was a lot worse than hacker blowups.
