I’m not saying Allen is dumb but he sure ain’t Fitz. Allen was mainly drafted because of his physical traits and potential. Fitz went in the 7th round because of his lack of physical traits and potential, yet had a career better than 90% of nfl qbs. If Fitz had Allen’s natural abilities, he would have been a HOFer.

I think Tyrod gets too much crap now looking back, but was any receiver going to put up great numbers with him? If Clay went to NE with Brady (and no Gronk), he would have been pretty good. Good post. A big reason Clay was signed was because of his versatility.

Yeah, that’s my point. Because of guys like Brees, Wilson, and Mayfield, shorter qbs are not falling the way they used to. Brees and Wilson would have been 1st rounders if they came out this year. Charlie Ward in this era would have been given a shot at the nfl.

I don’t know what that means. 1) it’s kjnda embarrassing Ward wasn’t even given a chance to play in the nfl 2) ward made millions playing basketball 3) and I was young for Ward in college but I think Murray was a much better passer than Ward. If size wasn’t a factor, Murray would be the first player drafts. He was really, really good.

Mahomes only averaged 37 points in 2 games vs the Pats. What a loser. just because some of you are homers, it’s ok not to be completely irrational. The Chiefs would laugh at us if we offered Allen, White, and Edmunds for Mahomes. Every other fanbase would laugh at people saying Allen would do the same thing if they switched teams. Allen couldn’t even dominate at Wyoming. allen hopefully will become a good QB some day but he needs to be a mvp type to justify this trade. We traded up to draft Josh Allen and Zay Jones instead of just staying put, not giving up draft picks, and taking Mahomes and JuJu. Trust the process!!!
