If anyone argues anyone but Peterman, they are Sean McDermott. I know you weren’t an EJ fan but there is something very fishy about him not being in the league while a lot worst qbs get 4th it 5th chances. In the last game of the preseason, EJ had like a perfect rating and got cut. Yet, Peterman gets signed again. ?

I know. I just think there’s a lazy narrative about how bad nfl players. There are a bunch of idiots but the vast majority of good dudes.

I think he was signed because he looks like a bigger version of McDermott.

Such an overrated number. I bet nfl players get arrested at a lower rate than most citizens. But the good nfl players don’t make the news because it’s not sexy.

Culture is most overrated term in pro sports. Winning makes culture. The stupid Pats have the best culture in sports because they have Brady and they still couldn’t keep a teammate from murdering people.

And I get your point. Personally, I think the process should not include guys who got suspended. I’m a huge Stanford guy but Murphy has had one really good season in the nfl. Then when you add the injury, PED suspension, and fact he looks 40, I don’t have high hopes for him. I think that money could be spent better but hopefully, he lights it up.

I love attitude but he made that game about himself. He probably should have gotten a second flag because he was still taunting Miami after the first flag. i thought he was solid pickup. But some of you are dismissing the fact that he blows up at coaches or does selfish things way too easy.

Ugh, Process guys. How about we get guys who have more than one good season, no serious injury, and a past PED suspension? That’s an awful process.

Actually, I was pointing out if someone has a very bad college % at every level of football, they struggle with accuracy. If Allen was a 65% passer one year and then 52% another year, then you can totally blame everything on his teammates. Its great you have your conclusion that Allen isn’t as inaccurate as 52% would suggest. But at some point, you can’t ignore years of data. Of any qbs drafred in the top 10 of the last 7 years, none of them had a lower college completion than Allen. So when he goes 52% in the nfl, it shouldn’t be a surprise. You can do this for every qb, good or bad, and find ways to boost their “accuracy .” You need to prove it on the field. At some point in his career, Allen needs to get over the 60% mark. It’s like a baseball player who is a .250 hitter but fans swear he has a swing that can make him a .300 hitter. After five years of hitting .250 or lower, people need to just stop finding excuses and the player just needs to do it.

But this Fitz isn’t Fitz. That’s the point. He is an aging possession wr. Fitz can’t get open the way he used to because he can’t separate. He was never fast but he is Kelvin Benjamin fast now.

You’re working way to hard to put down Rosen to pump up Allen. Johnson was coming off a major injury (McCoy has 1,500 yards in 2017) and only rushed for 3.6 ypc this year. He was not close to the same rb he was in 2016. i love Fitz and he’s one of my favorite players in the nfl. But he has Kelvin Benjamin speed now. He’s averaged 9.6, 10.6, & 10.6 ypc which is bad for a receiver. He doesn’t threaten defenses anymore. They badly need a speed guy, which Kirk (drafted lower than Zay) might be. And you’re pumping up a TE who has 544 yards and 4 tds in 2 years? Charles Clay’s career is much better than his and he’ll, Croom almost had as good of a season. you know I respect you but it’s ok to say both QBs weren’t in great situations and need more help.

He was awesome during that SB run. And lucky plays happen for most teams during a SB run. also, this goes to show that just because a guy was good at something himself (Elway), it doesn’t make him an expert. But Flacco is a solid starter who isn’t elite. Draft a young guy, hope their d is still good, and that is a good foundation.

It’s hilarious how people remember thjngs 1). For the comments about his weight. I guarantee he is way more athletic than most of the posters making fun of him 2). Guess why his contract was so big? Because he was awesome. 2nd team all pro good. Through 4 years, Dareus has 28.5 sacks. Warren Sapp had 29.5. 3) Rex ryan’s System did suck and he ruined one of the best defenses in the nfl. dareus made a ton of mistakes. But constant coaching change, losing (he competed for titles in college), and a ton of death in his family played a part. I do agree that it’s a shame how his career went because he had HOF talent.

And while I generally agree, I wonder if we draft to guys with those picks that could be packaged for Mack. Obviously it’s a lot of money but I think people value draft picks too much.

Kirk was drafted lower than Zay Jones. Their talent level was pretty much on par with ours. Its kinda amazing how much people are reaching with a quote of a college coach recruiting a high school players years ago. Fitz is not Fitz and Johnson struggled to get back because of his knee and their trash oline. Just like McCoy.
