  1. But it’s not even the height. He might weight 175 lbs. monster qbs get hurt. I thought he was great this year. If he was even Baker’s size, that would be one thing. But man, it’s a super risky move.
  2. Difference between nfl gms and Kiper is they get fired. If any team actually hired him, he would have been fired in a couple of years.
  3. Aging receiver coming off an Achilles? Yikes. Great career but I’d look elsewhere.
  4. I freely admit I know anything about the oline. Is he good? Because I don’t imagine the Jets cutting a good o linemen or was it just about money? can anyone of you oline guys give me an honest assessment?
  5. It sucks but it is pretty much a wasted season unless you make the playoffs or you’re terrible. The Miami game was fun but I think I would rather have the higher pick right now.
  6. Me too, haha. It will be possibly the most interesting qb prospect ever. I just can’t imagine him not getting hurt every year though the baseball background could help him like Russell Wilson. I bet Murray is 5’9” he looks tiny out there.
  7. Yup and that sums up why he annoys me. He blasts teams for not picking guys he has ranked on his board. And sadly, some fans put value in his opinion. if they view Kiper as entertainment like Dave said, that’s one thing. But much like most of the sports media, he has no real inside knowledge and has zero accountability. I do recommend Freezing cold takes on Twitter that holds the media accountable for terrible takes.
  8. He reminds me of a guy who hosted an show called the apprentice on tv. I thought the guy was a total joke but it made for interesting tv. So I’m that regards, I agree about Kiper.
  9. Who cares about the long run? They won 7 more games than they did last year and had a chance to compete for the SB. If Mitch is legit to earn that money, it will be his team). But imagine the Bears if they just took Mahomes.
  10. He commands a double team just by being in the field. Injuries definitely hurt him but he is the main reason why their defense was 3 overall and had 36 takeaways. its similar to when we got Mario. Just his presence alone made the entire d line better. It’s not a coincidence that Hughes, Kyle, and Dareus all had their best seasons when Mario was here. That’s why a great pass rusher is so important. They make the whole defense better.
  11. Kiper was the first national guy I remember hyping up Allen. And i I love the mocks and the stuff before the draft. I also respect Kiper as a business man because he has no actual football background. But I don’t value his opinion anymore than certain posters on this board. But salute to him for figuring out how to get back with no actual real skill in player evaluations.
  12. Kiper was the original Allen guy. Not really sure this means anything because in the real draft, the Browns chose Mayfield. Kiper sucks. there are a bunch of things that suck right now in this country. But if you need to believe in how awesome America is, look no further than Mel Kiper. Community college education, never played/ coached/ or was in a front office in football in any level. Yet, he has made millions being a “draft expert” who fans get excited or mad about their team’s draft because of his rankings. ‘Merica!!!
  13. Yeah, I don’t know what we even discussing anymore haha. I wasn’t sure if the Flutie comment was a put down or compliment.
  14. ? Honest question: what do you think the % of guys who hit woman won’t repeat it? Because I think guys who are women beaters tend to repeat the behavior more than say someone who gets caught stealing a laptop (Cam Newton’s crime in college that people used to put him down before the draft).
  15. Tavon Austin is the Sam Bradford is receivers. Funny that the St Louis Rams basically sealed their fate with those guys.
  16. YeH, I’m pretty confident that a 5th round pick with a 32.5 qb rating will be the worst QBs to ever start multiple games in the nfl. And I don’t even blame Peterman, who just isn’t physically good enough for the NFl. It’s SM’s fault for putting him in That position.
  17. Denver or some team should offer a 3rd for Rosen if the Cards are that stupid. Flutie would be a 1st rounder in today’s nfl.
  18. You enjoy your pressures. I’ll take the guy who is in the discussion for DPOY every year he is healthy. So would every non Bills fans.
  19. RG3 was so good as a rookie. That field and Shanahan killed his career.
  20. Yeah, why does it matter how big you are in baseball? If anything, being shorter is probsbly an advantage because you have a smaller strike zone and a guy like Murray is someone you want to get on base by any means. But flutie would have been given more of a shot in the nfl today.
  21. Elite pass rusher >>>> oline and receiver. Those groups can be very easily found in the draft. The Steeelrs rarely ever draft receiver high (I think JuJu, who we passed on, might be their highest drafted Wr in a long time) but they always can find guys. In in terms of nfl team construction, the hardest positions to find are qb, pass rusher, and cb. The rest of the positions can fall into place after you have those other pieces. Mack wrecks teams by himself and he loves Buffalo. I would have definitely given up the 9th this year and hopefully something like the 20th (fingers crossed) or so next year. Honestly, it’s pretty much a no brainer. True but he became the player he is at UB. The only reason a guy from Florida ends up at UB is because he wasn’t that great in high school.
  22. Of course, Peters is the better player. I was referring to the situation as being somewhat similar in terms of position moves. The Bills gave Peters a solid contract after a year of playing RT. He moved to LT, was great, and immediately debated a LT salary. Look at the a erave salaries by position: https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/positional/. $8 million for a LT, $5 million for a RT, and $3 million for a G. If I was him or his agent, I won’t just let a position switch happen. I have a problem knowing how good Alabama o line and slime players are because they are completely surrounded by 5 star players. A lot of guys who would be very average nfl players could be very good at Alabama. Isn’t there a knock on Williams’ arm length? Also, is he a grinder?
  23. It seems like it should be easy but I feel like it’s tougher than it appears. It requires a lot more reading of progressions. But the opposite of this is Tom Brady, possibly the best qb ever, loves the checkdown.
  24. Haha, maybe I over exaggerate but they are so frustrating. They operate like a small market team (because of their owner got taken to the cleaners) and they always seem to sign guys I hate to contracts that they will never live up to (Jay Bruce, Todd Frazier). They brought back Jose Reyes, after “allegedly “ beating his wife, and played him all season while he was batting like .175. And they somehow only went 10-9 in one of the greatest pitching seasons in modern history with Degrom. i think what makes it so frustrating is because I was kinda both a causal Mets/ Indians fan growing up in Buffalo (both were farm teams of the Bisons) but really dove in head first with the Mets because I spend so much time in NYC. Honestly, I get when a small market like Buffalo struggles. But it’s crazy when a big market team sucks.
  25. That will be the best stretch of Foster’s career. I hope I’m wrong.
