  1. A one year deal is perfect for him. He’s not at the point where I would trust him with a multi year deal.
  2. He’s not good. This would be Kelvin Benjamin 2.0 but he’s less talented. Honestly, he should bulk up and be a TE. He’s too slow to make it as a receiver. Heard he’s a great guy though.
  3. He had a great combine. He would be a great developmental qb for a team with an older franchise guy.
  4. So to be clear: people are celebrating the “right” Josh based on a rumor that hasn’t happened with the Cards trading a rookie qb who basically had the same passing stats as our rookie QB? Makes sense. Also, if we reverse the Joshs, we would have the same exact attitude towards Allen as some have towards Rosen. Even if I didn’t like a rookie 1st round qb, to trade him after year on a crappy team is insane. IF the Cards do this, they better hit a Mahomes homer and hope Rosen doesn’t become a good qb. I’d like to think it’s draft time and everyone is lying. Honestly, what sense does it make tfor Arizona to reveal their true plans either way? If anything, they are better off getting lies out there.
  5. He’s taking less to go to a contender or signing one last big deal. So if we want him, it’s going to be for big bucks. Really good player but not sure at his age, it’s the best investment.
  6. Because I was all about JuJu before that draft. I knew he was a stud. So yeah, when they trade up for a guy who played against subpar competition because they hired his college coach, it’s a little frustrating. IMo, Zay will never be close to the player as JuJu. It was a really bad decision. That said, it’s a sunken cost and he could be a solid possession guy for us. I mean this is much better than fighting his brother naked. But much like DK Metcalf, this doesn’t really impress me. Getting all jacked for a receiver isn’t necessarily great.
  7. I feel like Trent Murphy at his salary would be a great replacement for Houston. Houston for Murphy and we will throw in a 5th. Have your people talk to my people plus you owe us for Mahomes. ?
  8. He’s a stud and I can’t believe he’s only 30 (he looks at least 40). I feel like this is a move a SB contender makes because pass rushers can fall off a cliff real fast. But definitely worth a feeler to see what it would take.
  9. And you know I’m hard on Allen but I did worry there was a lot of sandlot plays. I want to see more of the traditional pocket plays, with running as the last option. that said, it’s night and day between Allen and Manziel’s physical and mental tools.
  10. Me as GM: I like every player in this draft and will draft them if I have the chance. So please trade with me if you want a player.
  11. Basically, what he did on college was run around like a maniac and throw jump balls to Evans. He was good at it but it was so gimmicky. And I do hope he found peace in his life but the drug stuff, IMO, was a crutch because he deep down knew he wasn’t nfl caliber.
  12. Duke Williams is more on a strength than Boldin was on the Bills I would be willing to bet. But I am willing to say AB is slightly more an upgrade than Duke at this point.
  13. I was pretty young for those years so I looked them up and a couple interesting things 1) Jerry Reese, the former Giants GM, was a receiver for us. 2) Collins first year as a true starter was also exactly like Allen’s passing wise. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/CollTo00.htm 3) was Moulds’ 1995 season the most dominant receiving season in Bills’ history?
  14. I’ll definitely lay $50 on +9500. I mean you just have to.
  15. I won’t cut him either. But Moulds was sitting behind HOFers. The last 2 years have been some of the worst group of receivers in team history.
  16. The Bills are like your girlfriend who cheats on you every week but she says sorry and you forgive her. Now when she cheats, it doesn’t bother you anymore because your heart can’t be broken anymore.
  17. The trade up for Zay is one if the worst draft day decisions in a long time. I hated it at the time (loved JuJu who was drafted after the Bills original pick) and it is even worse after you see how good Kupp is. That said, he has a value as a shaky 2 or solid 3 receiver. Like the Bengals with Ross, what do you really gain by letting him go now? He has low trade value. so unless he fights for Jesus again or some dumb team makes a dumb offer, you are better off keeping him.
  18. I believe it was the last time I every broke something in my house watching the Bills. But honestly, who cares? It was an amazing play call. also, on kickoff team, I was the 2nd guy from the sideline. Your job there is to stay outside the hashmarks; don’t chase the ball; and wait for reverses/ throwbacks. Your instinct is to chase the ball but it is a super important job and because whoever the contain person was then, cost the Bills a playoff win. oh and RJ completely sucked that game.
  19. Sucking at ? People loved him on this board. Mike Evans made him. I do hope he did get his life back on track.
  20. They still had Boyd and Eifert. Using a top 10 pick on an non #1 receiver seems like a bad invest for a team that was a playoff contender. and people are right about not bidding too high of a pick. Maybe a player (hi Cincy, Ducasse is a great player and an even better guy)? But I don’t know why you get rid of Ross for a low round pick unless he is super dumb or had major injury concerns.
  21. A failed OT who turned into a really good G. It would be a good signing. I will say the track record of paying big Guys to come to/ stay in Buffalo isn’t great.
  22. I mean, why won’t he? Sadly, he would be perfect for them.
  23. He can’t stay healthy seems to be the main issue. But you’re right, there probably is more to the story if they are giving up on him this quick.
  24. I was never a Mariota fan before the draft (gimmicky offense and he got hurt a lot). But I thought he was borderline awesome his 2nd year. I don’t know what happened.
