  1. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2015/profiles/tyler-kroft?id=2552586 this write up is certainly interesting. Predict him as a round 5 pick (goes in the 3rd) and compares him to Kelce. Gotta overpay for the downgrade of lifestyle from Cincy to Buffalo. ?
  2. For a 35 year old rb? They could get a guy like that in the 7th round like most good teams do. That’s the whole point. The Rams picked Anderson off the scrap heap. RBs are a dime a dozen.
  3. Like the player, hate the contract. Washington are the Knicks of the nfl.
  4. He’s actually still pretty good. He is on awesome PEDs.
  5. Clearly worked well for Miami last year. and no one is doubting Gore is a good guy. But what other (good) franchise pays a 35 year old rb this kinda money.
  6. Good point. Foot injuries are rough ones for receivers. I can’t believe we couldn’t get a guy like this cheaper.
  7. I know nothing about o line play (so boring) but seems like a good signing and plugs hole. Good work.
  8. He’s a better player with more upside than Kroft IMO. Be interesting to see how his contract matches up.
  9. We missed that window. Should have traded him last year.
  10. Couldn’t you same similar things about Kroft? He would have a lot of open field to work with a guy like Green pulling coverages and he has averaged less than 10 ypc, which is kinda terrible. $6/ million for a guy like this, with little upside, seems questionable.
  11. Haha haha is this serious? To review, in a passing league where rbs have little value, in back to back off seasons, we have signed 30+ yo rbs for $3 million plus??? I respect Gore’s career and this isn’t going to bury you. But it shows why our offense has sucked under this new regime. RBs are a dime a dozen. You always go younger and cheaper, especially with a backup. This regime’s offensive philosophy is awful.
  12. Wow Gunner. Normally I’m with you but I don’t see that. Kroft averages 10 ypc for his career which is bottom tier for a receiver. James just has the best season of his career and seems to have much more upside. IMO, James is a better player. Why do you think Kroft is a better player?
  13. Yeah, I always thought Raiders fans seemed like an intelligent bunch. Who is being negative? You won’t have wanted the Bills to get a player like this?
  14. I think it’s insanely early to say Allen is better than Carr. Carr has been a pro bowler and thrown for over 4,000 yards.
  15. I guess In theory with a guy like AB, he keeps defenses more honest where they can’t just recklessly blitz.
  16. I haven’t followed him on the Raiders but he was a beast. Seems like a great trade for the Jets and part of paying an idiot a lot of money.
  17. You might want to sit down Doc, but good players get paid a lot of money! Is Star a great contract? Murphy? At least when Dareus signed his deal, he was all pro. If one of young guys becomes an all pro, they will get paid a lot of money.
  18. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/buf/2017.htm we deserved the playoffs as fans but that wasn’t a good team.
  19. “Crafted”. And I’m so glad the drought was broken. But all the team showed was how awful & unlucky every team in 17 years has been. That was not a good team. Lovie Smith got fired after going 10-6. The bar needs to be raised. So let’s see how this year goes. Any steps backwards, it’s time for a change.
  20. Oh yeah, that was their best move. Pretend like a total rebuild was necessary and convince fans that they just need more time. but yeah, hopefully we take major steps this season and we can see the plan taking form.
  21. I think you are completely overrating this regime but fair enough. IMO, if Andy Dalton didn’t backdoor in the playoffs, their seats would be very ? they need to nail this offseason. The excuses are done.
