OMG! People still try to blame the Bills for RI being a lunatic. The man is completely unstable and was a 35 year old player who had no leverage. This reminds me of another guy who no matter how crazy he shows he is, people continue to make excuses for him. The fact that the Bills keep him sane for a few years is a miracle. He owes the Bills more than they owe him. And I love NRC. Dude is a playmaker and he was a great find (Whaley sucks!). I have no idea why he is talking about Brady. Not smart!

Since we haven’t had 10 wins in 20 years, this would be a hell of a season. Hope you’re right! Yeah, our O/U will be either 6.5 or 5.5. Odds are we won’t have the #2 defense again. But the hope is the offense can be better than one of the worst. And Allen taking the next step.

For some reason, you seem to not like Jackson. I think all UB fans will appreciate him more when the program takes a step back the next couple of years. He isnt a day 1 starter but is a perfect developmental prospect. He has the best arm in the draft, is huge, and mobile. He has some really nice touches passes as well. He has plenty to work on but he seems like a guy who could sit behind an established starter and maybe turn into something. Or maybe he won’t. But it’s weird that the best qb I ever remember UB having isn’t more popular on this board. I mean, that’s almost every below 1st round prospect. I’ve just seen the guy make some of the best throws I’ve seen from any Buffalo qb, on any level, make. But he has a lot of work to do.

There’s no way Beane is winning a disagreement (and everyone has them) over SM. I believe that is a problem. Checks and balances is a good thing. Hard to do that when your GM was hired after your coach.

To say Tyrod is horrible destroys your credibility. I wasn’t a Tyrod fan because I knew he wasn’t good enough long term. But he was a solid game manager who won more games than he lost. We haven’t had a qb do that since the playoff years. If I talked about the Bills like that to my girlfriend, she would go into a coma from boredom.

They were 9-23 before Lynn. And there are a bunch of guys Whaley drafted making contributions to good football teams. IMO, this franchise would have benefited from a GM selecting his head coach and not the other way around. This is SM’s show for better or worse. Hopefully, there excuses stop this year. They have their qb and a ton of money. No more teams with negative point differential and awful offenses.

I mean Williams would have. But you’re right. I just think part of the issue is we have had bad olines and no threat at qb. The Pats and Saints seem to find good rbs later in the draft. Is that because they are better at drafting or because of the qb/ oline? also, shouldn’t Freddie be part of this?

He played really well for the most part here. I did wonder if there are some character concerns that are holding things up. He seems like the type of guy that would make you nervous about giving a long term deal to. Teams don’t just cut 2nd rounders.

Karlos was awesome (Whaley sucks) before he got stoned and fat. I also remember some good Holmes’ moments. but your point stands. I do think those were some bad olines. I think with a good oline and passing threat, rbs can be fairly interchangeable.

Did Josh Allen or EJ Manuel have a better qb rating as rookies? Obviously, EJ isn’t the guy as a nfl starter. Allen will get his shot and will get more of a shot than EJ got. Stop being sensitive. Enjoy the rest of your weekend

Eh, you can pick guys up like Barkley and Anderson every year. We just did it this year. Dime a dozen journeyman backups are so easy to find. I believe your qb roster should consist of your starter, the veteran non threatening backup, and developmental guys. smart teams don’t not get a good prospect because they have a Barkley or Anderson.

Or they can just hire the right people that will be the best job.

You guys are too sensitive. After an unprovoked shot at EJ, I simply pointed out that Allen, who people are ready to put in the HAll of Fame, had a worse qb rating than terrible EJ. It isn’t taking shots if it’s a fact. hopefully, Josh Allen will get to play through a 2-2 start next year. Exactly. This Allen cult. I’ve been burned by bills qbs a lot. So pardon me if I’m not ready to anoint Allen after a season. To bring it back to the original point, I don’t have 100% confidence in any of the rookie QBs at this point besides Baker, who oozes douche. No one should. I do like what Arizona is doing by going all in on Rosen with offensive coaches.

Schobel never got the credit he deserved here. Played with a bunch of crap and always produced. Imagine what his numbers would have been opposite Bruce.

Not worth the money. Whens the last great pass pass rusher the Bills drafted? Dareus has 10+ sacks in a season buts it’s hard to count DT as a pass rusher (besides Donald).

I was young during that period but I remember thinking the Bills would always beat the team they would lost the SB to in the regular season. I believe they had a crazy good regular season record against the NFC. They just choked when it counted most.

You should never count on DSTs tds. They are fairly fluky and not consistent season to season.

On the Hakeem Butler bandwagon. He had a tweet about how Jim from the Office should have choose Karen over Pam. Pam kinda sucks. dude is a free thinker. Plus, he is a monster.
