What a long way we have come
C.Biscuit97 replied to Allen2Moulds's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You know we did sign Mario Williams right? This whole FAs didn’t want to go to Buffalo stuff is completely overrated. We didn’t lose because we couldn’t get FAs. We lost because our QBs sucked. It’s really not that complicated. I was not a Tyrod supporter but they completely screwed up by putting him in a WCO, trading away Sammy a week before the season, and replacing him with Jordan Matthews and Benjamin. They set him up to fail. -
I still don’t get why people want a veteran rb so bad. It is the easiest position to transition from college to the nfl. There are guys in the draft with less miles, more explosive, and much cheaper to get. and for the record, I would have paid Gurley for a year. He is special, though his knees aren’t. The rest of the choices are meh.

We are looking at Melvin Gordon according to this tweet

Gordon is so overrated and completely misplayed his hand. Just draft a guy for much, much cheaper. -
It’s a year. Settle down. and it’s nuts he’s only 25. They have a good offense on paper and i they finished up pretty good. They could be tough if we have football this year. Also, rbs should go on strike. Worst position in pro sports right now. You get used up and then quickly thrown away. I agree but I don’t know people want an expensive vet so bad. Just draft a guy. They fall in the draft every year and it’s the easiest learning curve of any position.

Bills/Diggs trade - did it drive Brady to leave NE?
C.Biscuit97 replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I love the Bills so very much. But do you think after the last 20 years, NE is concerned with us at all? They have been horrible at getting him weapons besides Randy Moss and Gronk his entire there. Man, I wish Brady would have stayed and we could have finally slayed the dragon. -
Rams cut Gurley to Atl 1yr $5M

Seems like a legit good guy. The nfl is a cold business. -

I mean it was a tough spot. He was one of the best players in the nfl. I feel as bad as you can for a professional athletes who are running backs. They get the crap kicked out of them and teams don’t want to pay them. I don’t how why you ever want to be a rb if you could play another position. -

They averaged the same YPC and the Rams oline was garbage. TG isn’t the guy from a couple of years ago but I believe he has a few more quality years left. imagine if he went to the Chiefs. -

What about my keeper fantasy team??? ? he was the safest player in the nfl 2 years ago. and I still think he has value for some team. Goff is about to get exposed. -
Diggs is not the best receiver in the AFC. I know we are all happy we have him but let’s not just make things up. And it does look easier on the afc. But last year at this time, people were saying the Ravens have no qb and laughing at the Titans. Things change fast but it definitely seems pretty open minus the top 2 teams.
-
I did. I definitely think Flacco, or a similar type, could easily win a few games with out defense. Barkley, with his career 6.1 int %, is far less safe of a bet.
-
I don’t disagree. But he is still better than Barkley. Barkley has never been good enough to be washed. Flacco, even last year, had fair superior numbers to anything Barkley has ever done. nice guy though. Saints didn’t get this memo last year. With our defense, a decent qb could game manage this team to some wins. Hell, Allen averaged less than 200 yards a game and we won 10 games. I don’t get why so many people are comfy with have a bad backup qb. We should pray Allen because as overhyped and mediocre as Newton.
-
Honestly, this is probably the best case backup. Not good enough anymore to be a threat (Unlike Winston and Cam) but still much better than Barkley and has won a lot of games in this league. It actually makes too much sense to happen.

Best WR Trio in the AFC, or in the League?
C.Biscuit97 replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Based on how they have drafted offensive players, it’s better they are signing FAs. -

Who Wins More Games in 2020 - Bucs or Pats
C.Biscuit97 replied to inthebuff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tough question. I think Brady has more left in the tank and was on a bad offense last year. The Pats have a really good defense and I think it’s stupid to discount them without knowing who their qb is. Watch them both win 10-11 games. -
Bills sign RB Taiwan Jones 1 YR
C.Biscuit97 replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He’s whatever but I’m glad they didn’t stupidly pay Howard or some other veteran running back. Draft a guy and say run through the hole. RB has the lowest learning curve of any position. Why they invest on a vet blows my mind. Mike Tolbert. -

Watkins, Woods, Hogan, Goodwin. Rarely has receivers been the problem with the Bills. -
Haha, you’re not serious are you? Winston, with 30 ints this year, career int rate 3.5%. Barkley has a 6.1%. Winston is a moron but he is one of the most talented guys in the nfl. Barkley’s best skill is he’s a nice guy.
