I just tell myself that when the 2 teams are knocking heads later, they won’t be thinking about any other results this weekend. But it leaves a weird feeling as a fan knowing one home team *usually* wins. Just hope Josh comes out loose and composed. Go Bills!!

I might feel a wee bit uncomfortable if the first 3 road teams win prior to Bills game. It’s gotta be rare that no home teams win on Divisional weekend? Make me feel better about this. (although Bucs game still has a long way to go).

Nice to see a big Bills game with no weather impact. Our guys are gonna work up a good sweat in those conditions.

Buffalo is a really good road team. but IF they win at KC, i’d rather play Cinci at home for sure. I think it matters. And with the cold, wind, etc… Josh has proven this season he can play well through that.

Man, just so much at stake today. I’m pumped. Just a few more hours!

So funny, Bills and Chiefs fans are already booking hotel rooms in LA.

All i know is that Daboll and Leslie interviewed for jobs leading up to the Pats game. What happened? they basically had a perfect game last Sat night. So go ahead and repeat for this weekend with the interviews. i’m good with that! 👍

It could be telling, but not for personal reasons. Maybe Schoen and the Giants only want to hire an offensive minded coach. That's been more of the trend recently. But Flores seems like a good coach and Leslie is also defense, so ya never know. Maybe a lot of it comes down to who can assemble the better staff.

Most of the people on the morning sports talk shows are picking the Bills. Kind of surreal.

Sounds like a good result. The key is to not let KC go off on one of their scoring runs and have the Bills chase the game.. We need to dictate, let them chase.

The first defense to get a takeaway in this game will be the winning side. I think Allen and Mahomes will likely offset each other with solid play.

Since the national media are trolling the NFL by saying Covid disappeared for the playoffs, every remaining team will place one practice squad guy on the list. I’m kinda’ kidding here, sort of. Sorry- Covid is no joke.

Hot take, i think the Bills either kill Kansas City...by 17+ points, or they just lose. I don't think it's going to be a close Bills win (i.e. by 6 or fewer).

I don't necessarily agree with it... but that take is out there. Personally, i think it's an achievement to be one of the 14 invited to the dance. You gotta be in it to win it. That's a tier above the downtrodden. But ultimately, only the winner gets a trophy and everyone else is forgotten over time.

I have a buddy who always says either you win the Lombardi Trophy or you're the Detroit Lions. So to him, there's 1 winner and 31 Detroit Lions at the end of each season. Pro sports are harsh.

All that pre-game hype stuff is great when you know there is a big W at the end. The Murph call on the big INT was Pffffft. Do better Murph.

I kept hearing all year that the Bills we're built to beat the Chiefs. Well, here we are. Beat the Chiefs. Then don't get cocky and beat the Bengals/Titans. McDermott always talks about staying "humble and hungry".

I think LJ was legitimately hurt and lost his ability to move around and run effectively. I don't think he is being coddled by the media, but it is a concern for the Ravens and their fans. If a QB can't stay healthy (Baker this year too)...it's a knock on him. I'm sorry, but it is.

Another aspect for the Bills is to NOT chase plug-in talent by giving up draft picks. I don't think Beane is loose with draft picks. The Rams only have 4 picks left in the 2022 draft (in rounds 5-7). They gave up a bunch for Von Miller and of course Stafford.

I can't minimize the importance of culture either. I used to blow this off. Gimme talented flawed guys over choir boys. Well, this current Bills team talks alot about how they all get along, and hang out off the field. The position units are all close knit. We don't need a team of choir boys but bringing in quality people seems to be a specialty of Beane and McD.. Keep it going.

I heard someone say this, and i agree. Josh Allen has a history of a flub or two after an elite game. Mahomes has shown he can string together some elite performances for a few games in a row. It's not all on the QB, but that's the difference for the moment. That can all change this weekend,,, But Josh will likely need to string together 4 darn good games in a row to win the SB.

Obviously last season the window opened up wide for us...and it continues this season. How often do you see one team ranked with the #1 overall defense, the #5 overall offense, awesome QB, talent everywhere, great coach with assistants being coveted around the league....etc. My question (knowing there is no concrete answer), how long does the window stay wide open like this.. For the next 2-3 seasons? For the entirety of Josh Allen's career? These are good times to be a Bills fan. Not sure what the braintrust has drawn up for KC this weekend but this seems like the perfect time to seize the moment. They got hot at the right time.
