Jeez. I didn't really want to open up the Bills vs KC playoff wounds. Interesting takes by everyone. I really just wanted to see if people thought Mahomes was on another level executing the easier dink and dunk throws. Josh tried to dial those up more last season, but in crunch time we revert back to trying to hit lower % passes downfield.

Yeah, I kind of need a little break from roster talk. I think at this stage of their careers, Allen is the better downfield passer and clearly the better runner (although Pat is a good scrambler when he needs to be and certainly has a good downfield arm when he uses it).. However, I think many of us have seen that Mahomes is the better dink and dunker. He's always been. At the end of those close playoff games when KC needs a critical TD or FG, it's the dink and dunk plus Andy Reid play call mastery that gives KC a slight edge. We've had two seasons in a row end with the ball in our hands, and the Bills can't take what the D gives and execute a short dump off to get the needed yardage. I'm just wondering if the Bills start working on that more this season,,, or maybe they keep some plays in their back pocket for critical playoff moments.

I hear ya man. The window has been open since 2020. It won't stay open indefinitely, it never does. Need them to develop now.

Poyer is more washed than the 1991 Super Bowl t-shirt at the bottom of my drawer. The management here is really letting me down in that they cannot draft young difference makers back there and develop them.

I feel like more was at play regarding the Bills. Like they didn’t want another UB guy as the story and pressure of another local kid. They already have Joe, Cam, Ingram from UB. I dunno, just seems like they knew he’d be decent if not very good and they punted on it, and said let him be another teams fun story.

As much as it pains me, we are not the Eagles when it comes to drafting D and D linemen specifically.

Not sure, but the Bills are not scheduled to be on FOX until week 8 at Carolina. You’d think it would resolve way before the season or fans will bring torches to the steps of YTTV and leave the platform by the tens of thousands.

There was an American Airlines flight from DFW that landed at 4:44pm today. Something tells me he would fly private, and there are no private jets that landed from Texas today. At least on the flight radar tracking apps.

Maybe Shane gets through and back to the PS? Who knows. But he prob wants a shot to be QB2 somewhere. Not sure it's in the cards. I'm not a big Trubisky fan but agree that keeping him as the backup is the smart move. He's been there and done it, and could prob lead them to a close win in a pinch depending on opponent.

I’m glad he was released and hope to never see him in a Bills uniform again. He’s a good man, i just don’t like him as an NFL QB.

That's the home opener, as the actual opener is this Thursday (8/28) at 8pm, at Minnesota on FS1. Can they finally beat a BigTen team? in the 2000's it seems like most of the MAC teams have beaten a B10 club at some point. But i could be totally wrong about that lol.

Nope. They could have and should have beaten the Chiefs in Arrowhead. Even if the Bills lose i will try to keep from panicking. At worst they would start the season 5-2 or maybe even 6-1.

Strange, none of those names spells Mike White. He should’ve been the first one released.

Yeah with Aiden O’Connell out they do need a backup to Geno. There’s no way i’d trade for White that’s for sure. But maybe a Pickett or someone like that would be available. It’s always possible Buechele gets plucked from the PS. Bills did that to KC i believe to get him.

As other have said, Mitch is QB2, Shane should be PS. White is gone. I don’t care how much the guys like him, he’s not a QB that can play off schedule and accurately hit the hot receiver. We saw Buechele do that several times last night. He got the ball out of his hand quickly and hit guys perfectly in stride.
