  1. Oh lord, terrible coverage, a big chance to make up for it with a fumble recovery, nope, then a 15 yarder. ugh.
  2. If Houston has any chance they need to punch KC in the mouth early, while the Chiefs are still getting their footing after mostly being off since Christmas. I think KC will be sharp in the 2nd half.
  3. Hopefully Houston's defense today is in the mood to be nasty. They can be.
  4. I've seen a bunch of players and coaches interviews this week. They seem so relaxed and supremely confident. The players know something.
  5. I just saw the ravens plane fly over my home in Maryland on its way to Buffalo. It’s an Atlas air Boeing 747.
  6. All the assistants are doing it, and have done this for years. If the Bills were 5-12 and searching for a head coach we’d be thrilled they were interviewing the hot guys this week.
  7. Unless there’s a pretty big upset the Bills are going to have to beat 3 of the top 4 QBs in the league to win the SB (Lamar, Mahomes, Goff). Ravens/Lamar will need to do the same. KC/Mahomes needs to beat two great QBs and Detroit should they make it probably only has to beat one. I guess my point is, just keep kicking the can. It seems daunting but gotta win this week to have a chance and if they lose to KC so be it.
  8. It’s a beautiful, sunny, windless 42 degrees near Baltimore this afternoon. I’m walking my dog, no jacket required. I hope the Ravens are getting in a nice outdoor practice… and thinking man, we are really acclimating to the chilly conditions. We are gonna be ready for that Orchard Park weather!
  9. There's a whole bunch of metrics and analytics to mull over, but I don't know how in depth the voters go. The whole MVP debate/narrative shifted to Lamar in week 16. That's the day Josh didn't do much against New England and Lamar threw 3 TD's, 1 int vs Pittsburgh (while Henry ran 24 for 162). For whatever reason, all the brilliance that Josh Allen showed in the previous 8 game stretch was thrown in the trash after that NE emotional letdown game (the week after the big Detroit win). If Lamar wins MVP, it's because of week 16.
  10. It sure would be something if Allen and the Bills smoke the Ravens, and then Lamar wins a 3rd MVP.
  11. From their regular season stats, it appears almost impossible to stop both Henry and Lamar from getting their numbers. If you manage to stop one, the other goes off. Takeaways by the Bills defense would solve everything, but we can't count on that. Based on how wildly successful the Ravens are when Henry goes for 100+ yards, I think I'd key on him first. Try to take that away and put Baltimore in more 3rd and 5's.
  12. The ESPN programs this morning are hyping up the snow chances, now at 65%. Like i said, if the Ravens come in to this hostile environment with our freezing cold, gusty and snowy weather and beat Buffalo… i will tip my cap and say nice job.
  13. The Buffalo News had an excellent stat today. They questioned if the Ravens pass defense was really as amazing as they've looked recently? Then they looked at the recent opponents offensive rankings. LA Chargers ranked 19th in passing yards Houston ranked 21st Cleveland ranked 22nd NY Giants ranked 28th Philadelphia ranked 29th Pittsburgh x 3 games ranked 27th The Ravens reputation has fattened up on an average of the 25th ranked passing offenses. I'm not saying that Sunday will be great for passing, this will probably be a game where whoever dominates the trenches and runs better will win.
  14. Cowherd and his sidekick, JMac, are all in on the Bills with their picks.
  15. No, that Pats game it was 7 degrees with a wind chill of -5. This game is supposed to be 13 degrees, feels like -3. Should be a bit more breezy for this game.
  16. Without really analyzing this, if Allen is given a 40, there's no way Lamar is 37 and Mahomes 33. It would be more equal. We all know playoff Mahomes can be a different guy too.
  17. I'm sure that injured knee is gonna perform wonderfully in air temp of 13 degrees (feels like temp -3).
  18. I'm not sure about a 2 TD victory, but as I've mentioned before I'd be surprised if the Bills drop a 3rd straight Divisional playoff home game. I mean these are the teams you have to beat to get to the big game,,,, Cinci, KC and now Baltimore. The Chiefs have won 6 straight Divisional round games. The Bills have to win in the big moments, especially at home...
  19. But unlike Lamar, James Cook actually relishes the cold. We just watched him run for 100 yards vs NE (9.1 avg per carry in 15 degrees) and 107 yards vs San Fran in snow (7.6 avg per carry).
  20. Latest game forecast as reported this morning. Game time 6:30pm: 13 degrees (feel like -3 degrees), 14mph wind gusts, 65% chance for snow
  21. Hot take, but i think James Cook will have more yards rushing than Derrick Henry...and certainly more total yards.
  22. When you look at the Ravens games over the past couple months either Henry or Lamar have had very good games and sometimes both. I mean no one is stopping both guys. The Steelers loss in week 11 is as close as anyone has come to shutting both down and Harbaugh/Monken were heavily criticized for only giving Henry 13 carries.
  23. Listening to some of the press conferences and sound bytes this week, the Bills players seem relaxed and supremely confident. I think they know something.
  24. Lamar said he's not going to wear a throwing glove this week. He did it once and didn't like how it felt. I'm saying he has no idea how his hand will feel on Sunday evening in that icebox. Wasn't there a clip on Hard Knocks a few weeks ago where Lamar was complaining about the cold and it was like 35 degrees out.
  25. 100% agree. It's been cold down here in the Mid Atlantic near Baltimore but the coldest highs have been 28-30 degrees and typically in the mid-high 30's. That's considered a cold day here. This Saturday when the Ravens depart BWI it will be 44. The high Sunday in Bmore is 35. The Ravens don't play many games in the low teens or single digits, certainly not this season. It's brutal. The ball comes out of the QB's hands differently. Catching the ball is harder,,, making slick plays are harder. Lamar...being a Florida guy has stated in the past he doesn't like the cold. Doesn't mean he won't ball out, it's just harder. And we've seen the Bills this season play in freezing conditions and snow for that matter. The weather Sunday evening is absolutely advantage Bills. If Baltimore comes in and beats them, they will have earned it and I will tip my cap.
