  1. I don't really have an issue with the substance of what he's saying. Problem is he's a bit of a douche, so I just don't like him as a person. Similarly, I used to like Tim Graham, til he decided to adopt this tough guy act on twitter.
  2. I have literally never seen you make a comment that's NOT talking crap about Fred. Total troll. Also, I'd say that's the definition of crusading-can't the mods just ban you already?
  3. who was it that said that? Bart Scott? That guy is trash
  4. We can't cover anyone.
  5. They should fix that ref's mic
  6. Maybe next time preface with "I think"? You're likely to get ripped here if you present speculation as fact. Your post made me nervous!
  7. This is a pretty offensive comment. The "only thing" women can do in the game of football is to dance around and cheer for the men? Though they play in a horribly chauvinistic league, the LFL actually features women who PLAY football. Your comment is so condescending I doubt I'd pay attention to anything else you post in this thread. It equates to "Awww, let the girlies do their dance, they just like the foosball."
  8. I really hope this was sarcastic.
  9. Evidently there is evidence coming that should support this story
  10. That's ridiculous- in that event it would have been for 2 seasons of production versus a player who we would have cut By your logic, I could trade Tuel for Peyton Manning, but the trade would be worthless unless Manning re-signs… yeah that makes sense
  11. So you admit it makes sense then. I'm not creating a new train of thought here, this is all old hat. There are stifling defenses and bend but don't break defenses. Bend but don't break rely on big plays to get them out of bad situations in their own half of the field. I'm saying I would prefer to be stifling than allow teams to gain 400+ yards on us. This isn't rocket surgery here. Turnovers lead to a shorter field, which helps the offense and gives the defense rest, they're great. But, if you can't stop a slant or run up the middle on 3rd and 3 consistently, you're eventually going to get caught.
  12. Players have to live in a 24 hour news cycle now. The questions asked at the presser are the same ones he's been asked about like 1000 times. He got tired of the same damn questions and decided he would be "funny." Problem is, he's not funny, so it came off as weird. I'm sure he walked off stage and bragged to his teammates how hilarious he just was.
  13. Any time our defensive success is predicated upon turnovers I get nervous. Eventually the turnovers stop coming and the yards become touchdowns. I understand the Bears have a good offense, but Alshon was out for a third of the game and they lost both their starting Gs. We were not dominant by any stretch of the imagination.
  14. After reading the 15 page thread over on FinsHeaven, I should probably say that I appreciate you guys...
  15. The board was super tame compared to this one. Immediately after that post another Bears poster came out and wished us best of luck in all the rest of our games this year. Class act.
  16. You're were wrong before, you are both ignorant and a troll
  17. Yeah Schmidt was very impressive
  18. I think people get mad when players choose not to re-sign with us. Or you could just be a moron like Whitner and evoke hatred by trolling the fans who cheered for you even when you sucked.
  19. Seriously, why doesn't everyone just stop listening to peach Schnapps' show altogether? Organize a boycott and get him fired.
  20. The rest of this game should be telling of the mental makeup of this team. Traditionally this is where we implode on both sides of the ball.
  21. Game's starting to get away from us... Penalties late in the game worry me
  22. I don't understand what just happened. I feel warm and tingly inside?
  23. This team's goal is evidently to hemorrhage fans
  24. I mean at least they made it easy for them to score, that was considerate.
