  1. I got a similar deal, but through Verizon HBO Max and a discounted Netflix
  2. Recall in the 90's had the Bills Roundtable once a week, Vic, Larry Felser and can't recall the other two, think it may have also been Sully?? Always enjoyed the show.
  3. True, but it's not like the reports about Hairston were that his play was amazing, sounded like many ups and downs. And then is even only 98% OK that could make it tougher on him.
  4. Being he's a rookie, I think he starts the season on IR which allows him to observe the first is it 4 or 6 weeks, then comes back. Give more time to fully heal and to see the game from the sideline at a pro level better. Making him active for week one means cutting some other CB. So between Hairston's lack of practice time now and maybe a little lingering injury "dust" he could be an overall team liability being on the roster then as would need him to play and he likely won't be ready either physically or knowledge wise. This would allow them to keep an experienced guy like Jackson on the roster. If he was a 3 or 4 year vet, then could see him starting the year active on the team.
  5. Per the Athletic confirmed the same: Buffalo Bills rookie Maxwell Hairston suffered an LCL sprain in Tuesday’s practice, a source briefed on situation confirmed to The Athletic.
  6. An update from the BN, nothing mentioned about when he's leaving, but a story I read a couple weeks back stated he was heading back Friday night. A van provided by the Pro Football Hall of Fame was scheduled to pick up former Bills coach Marv Levy and his family in Chicago on Wednesday morning for the drive to Canton, Ohio. An NBC camera crew will be shadowing Levy during his visit to the Hall.
  7. The thing for Marv is Friday night as he will be there in Canton, but is leaving right afterwards as has to be be back in Chi Town for a signing event over the weekend. I'm guessing they will show a taped replay of about 30 seconds of Marv's celebration during the actual televised event. And I too don't watch it like I use to either. Speeches have got way too long.
  8. another one similar is they may keep the rookie OT and take a chance on VanDermark getting to the PS
  9. Now I know why the Bills fired their conditioning coach, saw a couple of photo's of Beane and he looks a bit out of shape. Also noticed Ferguson has some grey in his beard. Got to wonder if a player is too old and should have retired before getting grey hair?
  10. Hadn't seen that does look cool! Wonder if they will do something with the roof, like paint the Bills logo on it, or every 200 feet, paint a buffalo
  11. Looking at a photo of Highmark and seeing all the blue seats with the new stadium in the background, got me wondering. Has there anything been announced on the color of the seats in the new stadium? Will they again be blue. Have to admit Highmark does look cool from above. With the large overhang/roof on the new place, doubt it will look as good from above.
  12. Did it state when the Red Zone sale takes place? Wondering as with ST through YTTV, they are charging extra to buy ST with Red Zone. Doubt they will be able to offer that in future if owned by ESPN.
  13. One thing of every year at this time, probably the first couple of years the camp moved to Rochester, they'd include some photos of the players arriving and they'd always have one pic showing an offensive lineman carrying in one of these early day HD TV's that was about thew same size and weight of old tube TV's. Forget what they called that style but the player would be carrying in around a 32 inch model and for him the weight was probably like me carrying in my lunch bag.
  14. There was an article in either the BN or Athletic about both punters comparing them. I found Robbins story riveting, so riveting I forgot all the details, but was interesting!
  15. I'm kind of glad Robbins won only because I liked his back story better. Am surprised a bit that the competition os over already, unless there's more to the story than we all know.
  16. Oh I missed Ewbank being un .500 too, but at least he did win a Super Bowl Yup Phillips, forgot him too
  17. But 4 of them made the playoffs. Besides the 4 on the list who's your 5th competent name? Have to say looking at his list, you can say the Bills had many down years and yes only had 5 good coaches, but look at the names on this list for other teams? Mike Smith for Atlanta, Kevin Stepanski, Wayne Fontes, Bill O'Brien and Demarco Ryan for Houston, and how can we leave out our own Doug Marrone and Doug Peterson. Kind of fitting the Jets have 3 coaches listed with an all time record with the team of under .500. See Knox made the list with 3 teams . Surprised George Allen didn't mad ethe list with the Rams too.
  18. Have to question to, how many 2nd rounders don't make it through their entire rookie contract? Particularly as you mention the top 10 or so have a higher chance
  19. Since you mentioned college basketball, yeah, I've become the same way. Between the one and done's to the point you don't know anyone who's on the team, with so much changing of the roster there's little teamwork as the players aren't together long enough to figure things out, plus they are pretty much all terrible shooters these days. Living in Western NY for a long time I followed Syracuse pretty close every year. Moved down to NC almost 20 years go, still followed them until there last few years. But it's tough to follow a team that has been losing as much as they have and because of the losing, isn't on nearly as much TV as they used to be and much less media coverage. So in general don't follow the sport that much, but will watch March Madness, but even that not as intently as I use to as don't know who anyone is anymore. In all honestly I follow the NBA now more than college.
  20. And yet, they were the #2 offense I believe??
  21. Ok yeah wondered about the fine print, was figuring either was for new ST subs (which is the case) or people who didn't already have a subscription to YTTV which I also already have. Thanks for the info!
  22. Hmmmm.... Tempting to try it. Guess they are figure for many will forget to cancel the premium subscription afterwards which is what happens with many of these deals
  23. so you Tube Premium is $14/month. So I could Sept 1st get this for 4 months for $52, then I can get ST for $192?? There's got to be a catch like need a 3 year subscription to Premium?? Or is there a much pricer premium package I'd need to get the $192 offer?
  24. OK, didn't know that about you. So I'm an ME and have used lifts in many places to, but didn't see much of an area where you had a flat and large enough surface to sit the lift and looked like it would have to swing in fairly far from there. Recall one project working in an area with around a 32 foot high ceiling to next level but needed access to a surface about 4 or 5 feet below that level, so they built scaffolding off the floor above and hung it down. It was just entirely clamped onto the floor above to hold in place. Maybe there's a way they can easily just keep leap frogging that structure along as they get to the next section??
