  1. He may really be the nicest most down to earth guy around, but agree he has this look sewn on his face that gives you the impression of what you said.
  2. Greg was still but don't think Bosa still was playing on last drive. I saw mostly Solomom and AJ. This isn't college football with a 90 man roster. Someone has to be playing DE.
  3. With a defense this good, this team could likely go far if they could get better play from the QB position
  4. Yes it's 30 to 60 picks lower. But a year experience easily trumps that. There was also much written how playing DE is much tougher to learn than DT as more responsibilities to learn. The Bills also are pretty loaded team so again tougher for rookies to get playing time.
  5. Which DE should be sitting instead of Jackson? The only one you could even argue about would be Solomon, but a 5th round pick with a year experience is very often going to be better than a rookie 3rd round pick. Yes Samuel is getting paid a lot to be inactive, but he's a good insurance policy to have if someone else gets hurt in the WR room.
  6. Wow 2019 for New England, wouldn't have thought it was that long ago. Time flies when you're having fun!
  7. Sure he'd consider it. He doesn't want to alienate any Canadian fans. But let me know when it actually happens. It's a great PR statement to make!
  8. I'd go with Strong to give more time for White to heal up. Jets passing game isn't super strong
  9. But their best physical traits do differ a little. I think over time if both of their legs were to take a beating, Allen could better survive as a pocket passer than Jackson.
  10. True but the inverse to that is most of us if we have a little pain wouldn't worry about it. While here he's getting treatments probably 4 t o5 hours a day, shots, who knows what else?? So you never know.
  11. Yes and also the three rookie lineman by December won't exactly be rookies. I think need to put this game in perspective that they probably just played one of the top 3 teams in the league excluding themselves on both sides of the ball. Lets see how they look the next two weeks before giving up on them. I also think too the Ravens are better in early season that in playoffs as by then both Henry and Jackson are a bit beat up and worn down. Funny too how many things in the media talked about how this game likely means if they meet in the playoffs, the game will be in Buffalo. But yet last year, the Ravens beat the Bills in the regular season, but the playoff game still ended up in Buffalo.
  12. That is kind of true about Jackson. There is no other QB that can do everything that Jackson can do. He does have a certain ability in pure running and throwing that others don't have. Where I'd argue Allen differs is he has a stronger arm and he may not quite have the speed of Jackson, but he is much stronger and can power his way through tackles in ways Jackson can't. So he also has certain skills that no one else has, just not identical to Jackson I'd say they both have a couple of skills better than the other and if I were going to assign value to those skills IMO Allen would end up with a slightly better overall score with the big one Allen being able to make what appears to be impossible throws.
  13. In other news today, the sun did rise as scheduled!
  14. Yeah wonder why that didn't happen?? PS If you're 650.29 miles from Nick Tahou's, then I must be around 750!
  15. True, but probably one of those things where was it now 2nd down or 3rd. Figure can easily gain the 1/2 yard, not worth challenging??? How many times too do they show the replay, the announcers say, ah, this will be over turned, only to hear the ruling on the field stands.
  16. I will say on the spot, when the play first happened and watching it live, my first thought was he started the slide to early and don't think he made the first down. Seeing the replay, yes was a poor spot and he made it. But the refs don't have the benefit of replay. Maybe they should, but then the games would be 4 hours long and we'd be staying up till 1:00 till the end of the game.
  17. How many times do you see a game winning FG attempt with a running clock and time expires as the kick is made. Most of the time teams either end up kicking with maybe 15 seconds left with running clock or the clock is stopped. My point being this was somewhat of a very uncommon situation so easy to say afterwards what they should have done instead. I'm actually surprised the Ravens didn't fake an injury as you do get one extra a 4th TO for injury if a team is out outs. After the one the rules change as to how handled.
  18. Was listening to ex Ryan's comments yesterday. They were discussing if Ravens should have went for it on 4th and 3 at the end. He says Ravens problems are they and he was actually referring to Harbaugh is they play like they still have Ed Reed and Ray Lewis on the team and their defense is going to win the game for them. But these days their offense is their strength and they need to play that way, but they don't.
  19. Recall when Diggs first came to Buffalo, Allen was quoted as saying I told Diggs there are 3 things I want in a WR, catch the ball, get open and can't recall the 3rd, but wasn't anything much. So yes Allen likes the "Get open" type of guy, go wherever you need to get open. Recall reading last spring that Hollins had a reputation of not running his routes exactly and free lanced often. That may be why the Bills didn't sign him. While Allen may like that type of mindset, for the most part coaches don't. Diggs was good enough that the team put up with, but Hollins wasn't.
  20. He's a good insurance policy in case someone gets hurt, and everything I hear/read, very little saving by getting rid of him, either being cut or traded.
  21. Could be. It could be one of these things, if all the WR s are healthy, then Samuel sits because the #5 WR needs to play ST. But if someone is hurt, then Samuel plays and likely has more snaps than Moore.
  22. But who should they have sat instead? You didn't answer that part. Bosa, Groot, AJ, or Solomon? the punter, the backup center, who? And if you say Solomon why wouldn't you expect a 5th rounder with a year under his belt to be better than a rookie? Is Jackson likely better than the backup center , Green probably he is , but players not dressing are based on numbers by position, not overall.
  23. Any links to the roster with players by position and inactives? Never mind, found it https://x.com/BuffaloBillsPR/status/1964823990566081018/photo/1
  24. Really which DE should they have sat? The only one you could make an argument for would be Solomon. But the only difference between them is Solomon was a 5th round pick with a year experience and think a year experience trumps the difference between a 3rd and 5th round pick. Would it be less disappointing to see a 5th round pick with a year experience not dressed?
  25. Actually it was #23, but yeah that was the guy I was thinking of when I said McConkey
