  1. Funny enough his all time worst ST play happened against his new employer - kinda shocking that they’re the ones who signed him.
  2. Long but interesting interview I haven’t seen posted. Highlights: - Felt the Bills could’ve been more open with him about moving on, but also speaks very highly about the organization and Beane - Loves Dorsey and thinks he’ll get better but shares the sentiment of some of us fans that the offense became too reliant on big play passes - and interestingly, blames the Bengals game on the weather that day being a bad fit for the Bills’ big play passing offense - Says Diggs will be fine and not to read into his cryptic tweets - Gave himself a c-plus for his performance last year but then blames everyone else for his low output; says he was asked to run clearout routes for Diggs and never really got a chance to become Beasley - Reinforces my view that he’s generally a good guy who loves Buffalo (he specifically leaves the door open to returning) but not exactly an intellectual student of the game
  3. ALL THE FEELS
  4. Another failed age test!
  5. That graphic is an age test. I failed it.
  6. You know what I blame the breakdown of for this thread? society.
  7. Cat’s out of the bag now!
  8. Week 5 = what date?
  9. Has he gone too commercial?
  10. We will have to agree to disagree re: Taylor - I have never liked his game and I think he'll get exposed having to move laterally as Mahomes improvs and alters the pocket location. To me he is the definition of a soft, bad-bodied average RT.
  11. KC is putting a LOT on their QB, we’d be murdering our front office for doing what they’re doing - relying on a patchwork line and a bunch of reclamation projects at receiver.
  12. Those of you who get a hardon for shooting stuff… do some self-reflecting.
  13. Oh it definitely would be a wasted investment but he was Maybin-like in the buyer’s remorse department last season and if he doesn’t show this offseason that he belongs in the league, they could and should just cut bait.
  14. I don’t think Benard is a lock.
  15. Nothing will be worse than the Star People talking up the “invisible hand” and (to use another Simpsons reference) telling us to “listen to the notes that AREN’T played.”
  16. They’re not booing, they’re yelling Poona-urns.
  17. You don’t want it at guard either. Or d-line.
  18. Yup. Easley was a stud on Teams and was making some noise to factor into the offense but suffered a brutal injury that basically ended his career (something like ruptured patella).
  19. In Beane's post-draft session with Chris Brown, he seemed to admit that he was eying running backs with the late-round picks but then reached an oral agreement with Latavius Murray's agent and promised the agent he wouldn't draft a RB. What I said in the Murray thread - the real value he brings is that signing him prevents Beane from wasting other/more resources on the position. Seems like drafting Broecker and/or Austin was a direct result of Murray agreeing to terms... amazing.
  20. So the way he helps win games is by allowing/forcing them NOT to invest MORE resources in the position. THAT is what excites me about the signing.
  21. This kid may actually make it. He can play.
  22. This is how you running back, Beane.
  23. The only area of the roster where the Bills are demonstrably better is o-line. And that might be enough. The struggles at LG and RT last year cascaded into constant issues for Allen and the offense. If Brown is healthy and McGovern isn’t a turnstile they’re already better - and Torrence will compete for snaps as well (I’m not yet convinced he starts week 1). Beyond that, it’s all about injury luck. On offense, any loss of Allen (obviously), Diggs, Dawkins, Knox or Kinkaid, in that order probably, will make things significantly tougher. On defense, they are thin up the middle - which is where you don’t want to be thin. I expect Beane knows that and will be adding some beef over the next several weeks. Overall they still have given themselves a small margin for error with the lack of true playmakers on offense. They seem to realize the issue but have left themselves with limited resources to deal with it, hence the lottery-ticket approach to acquiring receivers this offseason despite being connected to multiple “big names.”
  24. Higgins is the comp I made upthread - that’s his ceiling, I think.
