The Browns just reset the QB market forever with the contract they gave Watson out of pure desperation and dysfunction. The league is interconnected in that way.

    I don’t know. Adam’s is great but a lot of what makes him special is Rodgers’ anticipation throws. I don’t think Carr operates on nearly as cerebral a level. He won’t produce like he did in GB.

    That was an expensive foray for the Browns. Why not just backchannel the look? Or if that was impossible (because Watson would inevitably disclose the teams he was talking to), why release the "hit" quote to Mortensen that kills the relationship AND gives up some leverage in trade discussions?
