  1. I would’ve preferred not to trade a fourth to move up two slots - let the board come to you and trade down if the value isn’t there.
  2. Dont mind the players but question the value and strategy. Beane basically admitted they drafted Cook for the role McKissic was going to have. I mean, his approach to the second round is incredibly frustrating. And he’s now drafted three running backs in for years with premium picks. Insane.
  3. Death, taxes, and Beane throwing his second round pick in the garbage.
  4. Beane is the worst second round drafter in the league
  5. Thats JD McKissic. You can find these guys cheap in free agency. DONT DO IT BEANE
  6. Would they be making this pick if McKissic hadn’t changed his mind? If not what does that tell you?
  7. Or the opposite of what @Tipster19predicts!
  8. But there's nothing to help him write a proper thread title - he's just doomed in that regard. Simply brutal OP.
  9. Its not nearly as outlandish as you’re making it seem. The Bills have ZERO tight ends under contract beyond 2022. ZERO. They have met with all the top TE draft prospects - they clearly view it as a position of need. Waller is more of a “big slot” (ahem) than a true TE; they also don’t have a slot WR on the roster beyond 2022.
  10. ***EDMUNDS THREAD TRIGGER ALERT***
  11. https://cheeseheadtv.com/blog/packers-targeting-tight-end-525?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter Some guy calling himself Cheesehead so take it fwiw, but Rotoworld picked it up so it may have some legs. Now THIS is a player worth targeting, and if they could somehow get him for less than a first, sign me up. Waller in this offense would be bananas.
  12. This isn’t right though. Beane himself was transparent in his season-ending presser about the need to add a YAC monster. He didn’t mention changing the scheme. The only true YAC guys they had last year were Beasley and McKinzie, and Beas seemed focused on self-preservation (on the field, at least). No idea why you think Davis showed YAC abilities - I don’t think I’ve ever seen him run past a guy with the ball in his hands or break a tackle. That’s just not his game.
  13. Good stuff as always. Love your contributions to this site. You have Booth as your top CB? Interesting.
  14. SF has to fix this - they can't let him leave.
  15. If they can somehow snag Damari Mathis in Round 2 or 3...
  16. He sounds like the kind of guy Arians would take in Round 2 and try to develop.
  17. Pickett sounds like Andy Dalton, Howell sounds like Mayfield.
  18. Really? I think Deebo is the best non-QB in the entire league except maybe Aaron Donald. And Brown has a lot of wear and tear - receivers who are built like him often break down early. So I come out the opposite…
  19. Wouldn't shock me to see Brown dealt to the Jets, despite what Vrabel said.
  20. I don’t mind if they miss on a guy like this - they’ve proven they can develop elite athletes into well-rounded players and it’s better to aim high ceiling. If they take him it means they have a plan for him and I’ll be fine with it.
  21. Moss was hopefully hurt or out of shape last season or both. He looked nothing like a professional football player when he played.
  22. Hopefully his mom and dad are still in his corner but they're likely giving him one more season to prove himself.
  23. Right but my point is the Bears knew the rules (one assumes) and if they wanted him badly enough, they could’ve made it harder on Buffalo.
  24. Couldn’t the Bears have just given him a fully guaranteed contract if they wanted to make it restructure-proof?
