Agreed... Palmer is not a great player, but he is a good player and can be effective in his role. If this offense had a clear #1 talent at WR, we should have all the pieces we need. Cook, Kincaid, Shakir, Palmer, Davis are all good to very good as a 2nd-5th option. But... these guys need that elite outside WR to effect the defense, spacing, etc. Unfortunately, I think we also need an OC that has the knowledge and creativity to scheme what these guys do best. It is borderline criminal that with josh in the prime of his career they've let this happen.

YE OLE just received it. It ain’t much, gents, but it beats a kick to the old giblets! -
Interesting indeed… @Kirby Jackson what are your thoughts? Could this have been a moving part in the talks that you know about? Could it have hinged on the Jags getting another receiver to fill the void of moving BTJ?

If Kirby Jackson says there are discussions you can take it to the bank. Kirby has the goods… FACT!

Bills are Super Bowl Favorites
Cotton Fitzsimmons replied to strive_for_five_guy's topic in The Stadium Wall
You are spot on. YE OLE has not been a fire McDermott guy, like many here, but this has been a hallmark of his teams. It even predates Josh. The 2017 team that broke the drought went on that streak where they gave up 135 points over 3 games and looked like the worst team in the league by a mile. It’s like clockwork gents… the defense blows, Josh looks slow and we speculate he has an injury, the offense can’t move the ball, we call some stupid trick plays that blow up in our face, etc. In a few weeks Josh will resume throwing lasers and running away from everyone, the defense will ascend to some form of mediocrity, and we will win a bunch of games by a wide margin. -
Game week thread - Pats at Bills SNF
Cotton Fitzsimmons replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s not out of the realm of possibility for us to lose this game, but some people are acting like this is some kind of uphill battle and the *Patriots are some juggernaut. -
What's good, gents? What's good? Excellent points here across the board from our good friend billsfan89. Josh has played well, but perhaps not eye popping stats as you say. Right now, if he stays on the current pace, he'd finish with something that looks like 4,097 yards passing, 30 TD's, 5 INT's and 676 yards rushing + 13 rushing TD's. That breaks down to 4773 total yards and 43 total TD's and 5 INT's. Is that stat line enough to get a second MVP? If the team finishes somewhere around 14-3 or better and locks up the 1 seed with those numbers, it seems reasonable. What say you?

AFC Championship pregame show

What’s good, gents? What’s good? YE OLE is sitting at the airport waiting to fly home from “high level business meetings” and upon clicking this thread, Mr Brightside started playing simultaneously throughout the airport. Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time” came on next… FACT -
LA Chargers Mike Williams to retire (?)
Cotton Fitzsimmons replied to B-Man's topic in The Stadium Wall
YE OLE fondly remembers an interview that offseason with BIG MIKE. He was asked to describe his play style. He said something to the effect of “I get a hold of that guy across from me and they’re like ‘no BIG MIKE don’t do it’ but I tell them ‘sorry I gotta do it… and I drive em down into the turf’ “ -
So sorry to hear this. RIP flaz.

Bills/Chiefs 4:25 on CBS is a tradition unlike any other… FACT! -
What’s good, gents? What’s good? It’s all speculation until someone actually sees this Asante fellow at Tempo with George Seifert.
