  1. Araiza was not the consensus top punter. It was widely mixed between those top 3 with Stout graded first quite often. The Araiza hype was from the stupid nickname.
  2. This draft will be totally depleted by the 6th round. Would love to see the Bills dump their last 5 picks and wind up with 3 5ths.
  3. Bills should snag one of these 4ths from Baltimore. 6 picks is any round is absurd. Flip them a late ‘23 pick.
  4. That’s exactly wrong. If anything, it’s an endorsement for Edmunds going forward because Bernard is a completely different LB. Edmunds still fills a unique role in the middle of the defense. They are building around Edmunds.
  5. The defense gets embarrassed over and over again against quality offenses. We know their top ranking last year was deceiving. Simply adding more speed and athleticism, at any position, was a need. Bernard accomplishes that much. The question is third round value which was poor.
  6. Offense was extremely inconsistent last year, including Allen. It really depends on whether the OL is actually improved. I’d like to see them use a 5th and couple of 6th rounders to move up for IOL today. Best offense in the NFL? No.
  7. That is exactly what you don’t want to hear about a third round pick. It reads like a fifth round prospect unfortunately.
  8. Chiefs and Jets are A++. Immediate impact players. Getting tired of the Bills tendency for developmental players with upside.
  9. Matakevick or Dodson replacement in..the third..round..?
  10. The people last night pretending 4th rounders don’t make the roster may now have their illustration.
  11. Worthy rationalization. I respect it. But sometimes you just gotta own disappointment.
  12. And Parham and Rhyan go next. Chenal and Tindall on the board. Several TE. Nick Cross. Bernard. Wow. Worse than the Basham pick.
  13. I had Bernard earmarked for one of those 6th rounders. Elam B- Cook B+ Bernard D
  14. Jets are adding immediate and high impact players. Jets are hugely improved.
  15. Never understand why people feel the need to make these kinds of empty points. Sort of like using "IMO" after every post as some kind of defense mechanism against the internets. Of course the team "knows" more about the prospects and league trends than the fans - at least to a more granular level. It's their job after all. But does that preclude discussion on a silly messageboard?
  16. Big Board: 1. Breece Hall 2. Skyy Moore 3. Bernard Raimann 4. Nakobe Dean 5. Cam Jurgens 6. Kenneth Walker III 7. Leo Chenal 8. Chad Muma 9. Nick Cross 10. James Cook 11. Dylan Parham 12. Christian Harris 13. Isaiah Spiller 14. Christian Watson 15. Jaquan Brisker
  17. The Blils have plenty of depth needs and rounds 3-5 are ideal spots to fill them. Depth at IOL is non-existent and obviously RB seems to be a target for them. Depth at Edge is still unproven and the Poyer contract situation looms. They still haven't replaced Klein. Losing that 4th hurts. ESPECIALLY if they want to go Punter in R5.
  18. I'm expecting RB or IOL. S wouldn't be shocking. I'm more worried they're going to toss away the R3 pick to move up.
  19. The fact Elam was their final first-round graded player justifies the trade. It's still disappointing they had to do it. Beane's previous fourth round picks with Buffalo are Gabriel Davis and Taron Johnson. I can live with the trade. Just not a fan of Elam as a prospect in the first round. I presume the comparison is taking one of the younger players in the draft with huge athletic upside. Now whether that can translate into a more polished and efficient player on the field is questionable.
  20. Since when do 4th round picks not make the roster? It’s a lot to give up for a player like Elam who will need time to develop. I can’t imagine he starts this season. Right now he looks like a walking PI in the pros. Grabs, holds, guesses. Nevermind his tackling issues. Fills a need and he was likely one of their last first round grades. Not a bad pick but the critiques of the player and trade are valid.
  21. Unless they caught wind that Cowboys were listening to trade down offers. Otherwise the trade does seem bizarre. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them flip the 3rd to move up for their second pick - likely RB/OL. But they gotta hit on it this time and not a bust like Basham.
  22. It does feel like a panic trade. Obviously they had him rated much higher than Gordon and perhaps Booth was off their board for medical. Would’ve preferred Elam after a trade..down.
