  1. Pick is fine, necessary. Albeit anti-climactic. But why in the world toss away a 4th?! Awful. Thought it was gonna be Jermaine Johnson.
  2. I can't believe he's lasted this long as their starter.
  3. I like this a lot. Now just grab an IOL in middle round who can develop at center. OL should be upgraded overall.
  4. Defense posted gaudy numbers last year against bad teams and backup QBs. Even if healthy, it needs help. A top CB, LB (big nickel?) to replace Klein, and another pass rusher for depth. They could also tee up a replacement for Poyer. They’ve already proven this spring to be looking for a more explosive RB, also scouting TE heavily. Probably also an IOL who can develop long-term at C. 1 - DB/RB 2 - RB/DB 3 - OL/LB 4 - LB/OL 5 - TE/Edge 6 - Edge/TE 6 - OL/DB 7 - DB/OL
  5. Dan Brugler (Athletic) now has Hill as high as #21 to NE. This might be a year for one of those "surprise" Bills picks like Hill, Cine, Lloyd, Chenal or Quay Walker.
  6. Dan Brugler (Athletic) has Booth slipping into round 2 as well. Burks to Bills at #25.
  7. R1 No's: Drake London Treylon Burks Jameson Williams Christian Watson Kenyon Green Tyler Linderbaum Derek Stingley Nakobe Dean George Karlaftis Boye Mafe Arnold Ebiketie David Ojabo
  8. Signed with Colts, thankfully. Haden is also washed. Based on the value they seem to ascribe to CB2, gotta think a CB in R2-3. I'd be pleasantly surprised if they go R1.
  9. They're in a pretty good spot all things considered. Sign the draftees and save some room for summer cuts (or a draft-day trade?). Perhaps also buy a Twitter share.
  10. Ascending - Cam Lewis Descending - Devin Singletary Shocking - AJ Epenesa Packing - AJ Epenesa
  11. First Take is content. They create content. Assigned talking points and then debate to generate reaction. Silly, brainless entertainment.
  12. The very existence of the USFL relies on betting for anyone to care.
  13. Moss is a fine depth piece (still with upside). But it seems they're looking for a more dynamic weapon in the backfield. That's not ZM, so in that sense, yes he's being overlooked right now.
  14. Any chance the opening post can be continually updated? Or perhaps a new thread with an updated, comprehensive list?? This is all good stuff.
  15. The Draft Network (4/8): 1 - CB Kyler Gordon, Washington 2 - RB Breece Hall, Iowa St. 3 - LB Troy Andersen, Montana St. 4 - IOL Dohnovan West, Arizona St. 5 - TE Cole Turner, Nevada 6 - S Nick Grant, Virginia 6 - OL Logan Bruss, Wisconsin 7 - Edge Tyler Johnson, Arizona St.
  16. This is all pretty standard GM stuff. Beane isn't doing anything special other than manipulating the cap which is a job requirement these days. NFL salary cap is merely a suggestion.
  17. Striving for the financial benefits and protections of victimhood.
  18. I don’t think they could pass on Booth at #25. Gordon is a dark horse. I like Taylor-Britt in R2-3. There’s gotta be a CB in the first two days. Probably also a RB and/or surprise LB/S.
  19. Meant that there’s only ~6 WR spots and the roster, usually including somebody who can play ST. I don’t see the point of signing both Crowder and McKenzie if they planned to invest early in the draft. Crowder isn’t on a vet minimum. “Developmental” meaning a mid-round pick. CB, RB, and OL are higher priorities. Probably also LB.
  20. WR is not a priority. …because Diggs was extended. …because GD is primed for WR2 and under contract through ‘23. …because Crowder got decent $ and will get major time in the slot. …because McKenzie was re-signed and should have a similar role as last year, perhaps enhanced. …because Kumerow was re-signed and earmarked for ST. A developmental pick is fine to compete with Stevenson, etc. But not at the expense of more pressing needs. A speedier, pass-catching RB is a higher priority based on what the Bills have already shown this off-season.
  21. This off-season is bananas. Can’t blame anyone for wanting in on the action. Better to trade Poyer now than extend him. Ideally, he plays this year and then walks next spring.
  22. A RB like Hall is more likely for Bills early in the draft than a WR. Bills top 4 WRs are set and Singletary is a UFA in 2023. They've proven to be looking for a more dynamic RB. The question is value - could be a selection at #25 and then trade-up from #57 to secure RB/CB in some order.
  23. FA market is tapped. I doubt Gilmore is in play for several reasons. The other available vets would be frivolous on this roster. Best bet is an early draft pick and then see who else shakes loose this summer. Surprise trade is still possible.
  24. Gilmore is busted. Hard pass at whatever inflated price he's waiting for.
