    He reformed him into having 5th round value apparently. Which is even better. ROI is fine. He depreciated in value. It's not like they traded him in 2020.

    I just did a quick sketch of my 53. Rather straight forward actually. My last roster spot came down to Hodgins over Bryant. (I have Kumerow safely on the roster and Lawson cut.) I also have Ford on the roster, but if they can dump him for a 7th, then Hodgins and Bryant would both make it.

    His new contract (with a new team) depends on how he plays in Buffalo this year and whether he remains healthy. Somebody will no doubt overpay him on a 3-year deal next spring.

    Even before his injury /even before this contract, Poyer should not be extended. Can't keep extending these 30-year-olds. He's had a fine run with the Bills. Let him earn a new contract elsewhere as a *1 and done* with the Bills. Draft a safety in '23.

    Adams was annoying in a charming way. This new gal is ROUGH.

    The guy may never fully recover from the achilles injury. He struggled last year too. Concerning that with all the talk about 12 personnel, Sweeney is reportedly on the roster bubble and Howard is laboring.

    The fact Andre Smith isn't cut already suggests Bills are still oddly enamored with him. Perhaps Spector makes the initial 53, but loses his spot when Smith returns. Also a better chance to sneak him through waivers. Because you overrate your favorite team's players.

    He seems to read coverage pretty well, but he doesn't trust his arm. He sees the spot, will hesitate, and then throw late or off-balance. At worst, he's a noodle arm. At best, he's a good athlete and a captain check-down.

    Quite an odd list so far, but alas, it's dumb offseason filler. Miller seems a touch low. Allen should be top 20. Diggs top 40. Perhaps Hyde a surprise top 50.

    Bills need help at OL and DB, but it's more likely they just dump Hodgins/Kumerow/Ford/Sweeney/DJ for a 7th. Hopefully not. Would like to see Bryant or Love earn a DL spot.

    Trade market is dry because the 49ers may cut him. And at this point in the preseason, there's only a couple potential suitors to bid against on the open market. Mayfield trade return also having an impact. Teams have no reason to offer a decent draft pick.

    Hodgins can excel as the gameday healthy scratch.

    Shakir was the best of the rookies. Elam had several nice plays and just as many poor ones where he was lost or beat and grabbing. Encouraging performances overall from the group.

    The fact Dane didn’t play suggests he’s a starter. Both Elam and Benford made a couple good plays and looked decent overall today. Good to see. Big upside, but early season is a huge concern. Likely concussion protocol for Elam, hopefully precautionary. Liked his jib today!

    Keenum looks off obviously, but that second string OL is putrid. Ford? Hart? Capra? Come on.
