  1. Not concerned about Elam. He was a reach in the first round. Big upside but poor technique and needs NFL development. He was never supposed to be an immediate impact starter - that was practically a consensus scouting report. He's still on track (albeit Bills got lucky with Benford).
  2. I agree on this. His hands and concentration are top notch. Even in years past when he was getting limited snaps, some of his sideline toe-tapper catches were elite. He's definitely a HANDSY wideout.
  3. It’ll blow over. He was always going to be a slow and methodical implementation into the offense. Fumble doesn’t change that in game 1.
  4. Walking boot doesn’t sound good but hopefully just precautionary. Just a glimpse of Oliver last night shows his trajectory is still a rocket launch.
  5. Bills deserve all the credit. Early season rust perhaps, but that was a beat down. More significantly, how does NBC put those drooling head fools on at halftime over Ozzy!?!?!
  6. NFL: Ravens will be AFC champs. Baker Mayfield will have 106.3 passer rating. Valdes-Scantling will have more receptions, yards & TDs than Tyreek Hill. Broncos will finish the season 5-12. Bills: Moss will emerge as primary RB. Oliver will be second team All Pro. Rousseau will have more sacks than Von Miller. Bills will lose both games to Pats (but still win division)
  7. I bet Bills fall behind early, make it competitive in the second half, and lose a close one. Little confidence in this OL (forcing Allen to press) and even less confidence in this defense...at least for tonight.
  8. There's nothing to understand. It doesn't make sense and it won't happen. Bills have terrific WR depth with a good mix of vets and youth and ability. Beckham is an obnoxious, overrated media darling at this point in his career.
  9. Indeed. But not every team is a near consensus Super Bowl favorite with its fan base buying into the hype whole-heartedly...as if Allen's playoff performance last year is the only notable takeaway from the entire season. A chat about OL alignment and rookie corners is more interesting than hype videos and fluff pieces.
  10. So what if anyone thinks it's stale? Do it for you. It's fun and I recall these from decades(?!?) ago. Nice job.
  11. The team is being overhyped and overrated. I expect another regular season similar to last year which is fine. Winning record (11-6), likely division champs, but plenty of inconsistency especially from Allen. Factor in a weak OL and defense prone to struggle against quality QBs. The playoffs are wide open in the AFC. Bills vs. the field - bet the house on the field.
  12. These relentless super bowl predictions are absolutely nauseating. Do these analysts know who the Bills are?!?
  13. He has a knee issue that unsurprisingly is taking a little longer to heal. He'll be back in October. The news here is that we're now highlighting the fact Jets went with Flacco as backup again which is brutal.
  14. Poyer is gone. Slight chance of a franchise tag next year for Edmunds/Oliver. Better chance of the first decent comp pick in eons.
  15. Per Shefter. I was really hoping (and sort of expecting) this. Good news.
  16. They’re deep at certain positions - WR, DL - but not particularly deep overall compared to the rest of the league. Not sure where the “best roster in league” fluff came from. The OL is still average with no depth which will be the Achilles heel.
  17. Bills chance to graduate to the Super Bowl was last year…this year they’re due to take a step back. Diggs staring into the Chiefs confetti after the AFC championship loss…so emotional, motivating…blah blah. In their rematch they imploded/choked in historical fashion. Enough with all this silly hype.
  18. Not mad. Just irritated, slightly embarrassed, incredibly disappointed, and resigned to the fact they will never get over the hump and always fail in the clutch. Time doesn’t heal that reality with this franchise.
  19. Bills could be blown out by halftime but this THIS is exciting! Perhaps a couple minutes each of Patient #9 and Bark at the Moon and then full Crazy Train. Iommi performed with Ozzy recently at a stadium/soccer show in Europe.
