  1. Obviously the reference isn’t to the literal legal standard. It’s to the general theoretical approach of handling these types of matters. You might as well post an analysis of first amendment protected speech while you’re at it. For fun!
  2. Is all this silly hype and anticipation simply about Araiza getting released? When he does, then what? Hugs? What exactly are people craving to hear? Hopefully they address the initial 53, some of the injury decisions, and fringe roster competition.
  3. Or they’re conducting due diligence amidst changing circumstances. The fact it’s a lead story speaks more to how bizarre it is that people seem to care so much - whether their motivations are political, exploitative, self-righteous, or, far less likely, out of genuine concern. At the end of the day, this is just low brow entertainment.
  4. QB - Allen, Keenum RB - Singletary, Moss, Cook, Jones FB - Gilliam WR - Diggs, Davis, McKenzie, Crowder, Shakir, Kumerow TE - Knox, Howard, Sweeney, Morris OT - Dawkins, Quessenberry, Brown G - Saffold, Bates, Hart, Van Roten C - Morse DE - Miller, Rousseau, Epenesa, Basham, Lawson DT - Oliver, Jones, Settle, Phillips LB - Edmunds, Milano, Dodson, Bernard, Matakevich, Spector CB - Jackson, Johnson, Elam, Benford, Neal, Lewis S - Hyde, Poyer, Johnson, Hamlin ST - Ferguson, Bass, Araiza
  5. Did this alleged victim frequent college parties?
  6. If they knew anything it would’ve leaked and the “slide” narrative would’ve commenced. They passed on Araiza because he was a one-dimensional booming punter. The silly social media hype didn’t translate to actual scouting evaluations and thus other punters were rated on par with him.
  7. Tim Graham and Joe Buscaglia are enthralled and obsessed with this. They are truly moral superiors.
  8. He's quick to condemn to get pats on the back from his moral media brethren. You don't even need to read the article after seeing the headline. Did Mina Kimes chime in this afternoon?
  9. Bottom line is he's going to get cut eventually. Likely next week. Everyone knows it. It's unfortunate and it's weak, but it's the political climate with this stuff.
  10. Buscaglia with hard-hitting tweets about Araiza's lack of team-issued sweatpants.
  11. Araiza is in the building! ARAIZA IS IN THE BUILDING!! aRaiZA iS iN tHE bUILdiNG!!!!!!
  12. How is this a distraction for fans? It's pure entertainment.
  13. Jets have a nice group with Davis, Moore, and Wilson. Berrios still has upside. Might as well give Mims to the Bears for a 5th.
  14. Yeah right. Like Allen slipping at the goal line in Tennessee? Bills do not execute in the clutch. But don’t get me wrong, it’d be fun.
  15. Bottom line is he shouldn't be axed based on a civil allegation. And especially only when it becomes public. Nothing changed between Wednesday and Thursday besides injecting the self-righteousness of social media and tribal opinion.
  16. I agree it's unlikely they keep 4 TEs. But it sounds like they're high on both Sweeney and Morris - and the Giants would likely sign either/both if cut. I think it's more likely they're leaning toward keeping both Sweeney and Morris on the 53 and shopping Howard. Cam Lewis is the interesting fringe player especially now that they're working him at safety. The choice is Smith/Spector when he's activiated. I don't think Boettger plays this season, perhaps injury settlements or outright release.
  17. Bills fan legal analysis is fun. Glad Araiza is traveling and hopefully playing tonight. No silly “indefinite suspension” appeaser is warranted at this point.
  18. Very concerned about the corners. White won’t be full go for quite awhile. But I’m even more concerned about the OL. This team isn’t as iron clad as a lot of people seem to be assuming.
  19. Social media, public opinion, tribal pressure, cancel culture, victimhood, self-righteousness, greed, et al.
  20. Bills said they "conducted a thorough examination." It's highly likely they learned about it after the draft. But I can't imagine they "conducted a thorough examination" only after deciding to cut Haack - and make a public statement claiming such. If they cut Haack, they're comfortable with their assessment.
