I agree, but did anybody else feel like Josh just wasn't himself physically yesterday? He appeared a bit tentative and slow to roll out and also to take off. He also got caught several times by the spy. Spies never are effective against him. I read an article that mentioned that he was on the injury report this week with an ankle injury. That might explain it. Anyone else feel he was limited?

Are you familiar with the following concepts: RB screen, TE screen, bubble screen, draw, delayed draw, quick slant, quick out, go and stop, etc. I'm no OC, but it seems to me that there are experts in the NFL that believe these are effective concepts against cover zero. I haven't heard anything about this and I haven't seen him on the sidelines. I believe he can still be very important in two ways. 1. In practical ways. Studying film, discussing matchups and techniques with guys like Groot. And then during the game. Watching in real time what is happening and talking to the D line about it. 2. Just from a leadership and inspiration level. There are going to be tough moments the next 4 games( see what I did there? 😁) You can just see him going up and down the bench keeping everyone going, screaming DON'T BLINK!
