From your link "For struggling families and communities, SNAP is making a huge difference in their economic well-being and health. For example, SNAP is good for local economies – each dollar in federally funded SNAP benefits generates $1.79 in economic activity." - is not the same as returning $1.79 in revenue to the government. Last public report for SNAP benefits shows over 50 million individuals receiving somewhere around $400/month in 2021. That's 240 billion dollars plus another 10 billion in administrative overhead. Now, I'd like you to explain to me how that generated 447 Billion in tax revenue. The biggest thing you're overlooking here as well is the effect of money printing on inflation. Pumping endless money into the economy may give the illusion of prosperity and growth but it is merely a mirage. Inflation up over 20% since 2020 outpacing wage growth, housing affordability is at near all time lows. Nearly 20% or 1 trillion dollars of all tax revenue collected is going to pay interest towards our national debt. Our government is absolutely bloated.

Bills did have some trouble last season with guys overlapping routes. Hopefully they get that cleaned up and the condensed formations don't amplify that problem. -

Sounds like Utopia is right around the corner! 1)For starters, health Insurance premiums skyrocketed under Obamacare. I can tell you 2 policies right off the bat which Harris is promoting that will bankrupt an already bankrupt America. Open borders and free healthcare for migrants. 2)With regards to Ukraine. Not every nation in this world subscribes to woke western ideology. Russia is one of them and the longer NATO keeps encroaching on it's borders, the longer that war is gonna go on. Maybe it's time for Zelenskyy and Putin to get each other on the phone and have a candid conversation about how to end this thing because Ukraine will never win that war without other nations getting involved in a larger capacity. Do you want to send your kids to fight in another war? 3) More taxes on the wealthy is probably number 1 way to reduce manufacturing job growth so I'd like you to tell me how that policy is going to work out. 4) The left's hate on carbon is interesting. For all the talk about climate change and green energy why do you seem to forget that carbon IS the green energy. All life on earth is carbon based. Humans extract carbon for energy, emit carbon byproducts, plant life consumes it and eventually redeposits that carbon back into the earth. Seems like the perfect cycle of energy to me. Yes, currently the world population is emitting carbon at a growing rate...but...technology is advancing at an order of magnitude greater rate. Let the the transition to cleaner, alternate forms of energy happen naturally without hyper-aggressive regulations and carbon taxes. 5) Teamsters union just came out and supported Donald Trump this election cycle. Maybe they are starting to realize it's the republicans that are the real working class party. 6) "That a bright future not ruled by hate and insults is possible in the country. " Start off your post by making snide remark to previous poster then twice reference former president as "convicted felon". For someone who is looking for a hate free future you seem to be harboring a lot of it.

Getting to Know Kamala and Her Successes in Office
Lost replied to JDHillFan's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Majority of the populace are single issue voters and don't particularly pay much attention to politics. People like Josh Shapiro and Mark Kelly are unknowns outside of their own states. Barack Obama on the other hand was hugely popular among the democrat party, and I'm sure he would love having a 4th term. Michelle checks the all the boxes that Democrat voters prioritize these days being both female and black. I believe she has stated in the past that she wasn't interested in running for office, but the fact that Barack did not come out and endorse Kamala is interesting. -

Probably not the best analogy to use considering how you're presidential nominee has launched her career on sucking. -
Didn't Biden give a eulogy for KKK leader Robert Byrd?

Massive spending will never end under Democratic leadership. If they aren't funding trillions of dollars for all their activist issues, then they aren't being "progressive" which is pretty much what the party is built on. Sadly bipartisan spending is even worse. Then it's just both sides getting what they want. Massive funding for both the social activists and the industrial military complex. -

The only person that gives them a better chance is Michelle Obama. For the same silly reasons that they have Kamala in there but with better brand recognition.
