  1. I have to agree. In fact it's odd that the Ravens are seldom mentioned lately about being a true SB contender. I believe they are right up there with the Bills - Chiefs - Bengals - Rams - Packers. They helped their D tremendously in the draft, have a great coach, and solid weapons in including the QB. They'll be trouble for sure.
  2. I have no problems with the initial thoughts. Maybe swap Kumerow for Stevenson. Thanks for the effort.
  3. Never saw so much love for a punter......... I love it!!
  4. Even Kiper couldn't really find anything good to say. Likes his height. I guess this another "Trust Beans" pick? I guess he can always work contraction on the new stadium. This guy wasn't even listed in ANY of the "Best remaining" LB's on the ESPN website. His name isn't mentioned anywhere.
  5. If Wilson can't play, these Jets picks are just window dressing. No signs to me that Wilson is an NFL caliber QB. Jets are an improved team finishing 7-10. 4th place in the division.
  6. One thing I am 100% certain about. In the past 3 months of round 1st draft discussions on this board. With literally millions of words typed. The words Kaiir Elam was NEVER typed once!! Makes one wonder about the value of this discussion when reviewing the Bills selection.
  7. Then go to bed. Who cares. Great upside player. All the tools. Fabulous pick.
  8. They need him to play hard all-year. I'm sure he will. NOBODY guarantees $130M for 3 weeks work. I'm sure he'll be rotated so he's not worn down. Bills aren't stupid. When December rolls around, and he has 2 sacks, nobody will be happy, particularly Miller.
  9. Blah, blah, blah. We really need another topic on this? What's the point? Do we have a need to self-immolate ourselves on a daily/hourly basis. Do Bills fans need to constantly reminded that tax-payer paid for stadiums aren't the best investments on earth? This is how over 75% of ALL the stadiums/arenas are paid for in the USA. Your right, maybe the Bills should leave and let the states of Texas, California, Oregon, or Utah etc. gladly pay for a Bills stadium, but we will be able to sleep at night knowing we saved ourselves about $100 bucks in state taxes over the course of 30 years! How small can you be? How little do you earn that this is a big deal in your lives? Small consolation prize for watching our Bills become the San Diego Surfers, or the San Antonio Alamos, while Buffalo is stuck back in permanent exile of being a nowhere rust belt place where the only headlines are bad weather, and murders. For those miserable folks who constantly B word about this. Grow up. Get a better job where a $100 bucks in extra taxes (Total) don't ruin your life.
  10. The ONLY area that Watson gets the edge over Allen, is that the obviously perverse Watson is better at getting happy endings at the local message parlor. It's unlikely that Watson plays much this year anyway. I think it's generally a tossup between Mahomes - Herbert - and Josh. I think Mahomes is the best well rounded player, but here in Buffalo with the conditions, I'd take Josh hands down.
  11. God less Ralph Wilson, There would be no Bills without him. But lets face it, cheapo Ralph would NEVER in a billion years go on a spending free like this. I can't think of a better combo of NFL owners and management than what we have right here in our little NFL snow globe. Pegula's spending like the Yankees or Dodgers!! It's truly amazing. You don't even see the NFL heavyweights like Dallas, the Jersey teams, Chicago, Philly, Wash etc. (Maybe LA Rams are equal). Teams with full luxury boxes, and metro area's of 5M+. These truly are the best of times to be a Buffalo Bills fan.... No they just have to ring home the Lombardi!!
  12. Washington will NEVER win a SB with Snyder as the owner. He's ruined a once great and successful franchise. He's been a vile man since the day he bought the team at age 34. He basically invented the call center which is the 20th century version of office slavery. Long days, low pay, constant monitoring, and no advancement. Turnover to this day is over 40% a year. The guy is known to have zero personality, and a letch around women. Fans stay a way just to spite him. He's a pariah in DC. Other than this he's a great guy.
  13. That ship sailed many months ago. Just like the useless dome. I liked the idea of the stadium in Buffalo, it's where it really belongs But costs were the factor. I still say the light rail should extend to OP. You could party DT, and take a 10 minute train ride. It's what many fans do in New Orleans, Philly, Jersey, Denver, Santa Clara (49ers), and even Pittsburgh. I see not having a dome is not stopping ANY player from coming to Buffalo. Miller said he liked playing in the cold in Denver.
  14. Remember how the Packers season ended? Beane and McD obviously think he's worthy. Good enough for me. Next string.
  15. Yeah Tyreke Hill and South Beach could be a bad mix for him. I believe he wanted out, and just kept raising his demands. Just like LeBron James famously said - "I'm taking my skills to South Beach". He didn't even mention Miami. For guys with a ton of money, Miami offers 24 by 7 opportunities for bad results. Tyreke has his ring... Time to party. We'll see how it works out.
  16. My post doesn't carry much weight obviously, but as I was driving home today from Syracuse listening to the NFL Network on Sirius, they had plenty of their usual NFL experts including Polian stating that even with Tua being a mixed bag at QB, his strengths of throwing on the run will play into Hills strengths. Evidently Miami has also solidified the O-Line and RB positions as well. Plus many of the Sirius x-coaches stated that WR position is truly loaded in this draft, and Andy Reid can do wonders even with raw rookies if they have the tools. I don't see the Chiefs dropping down much if at all. I thought they played a bit complacent last year. No more. Frankly I worry more about the Chargers and the Bronco's anyway. I always thought that the Bills very weak scheduler last year was more of a hindrance, as they had trouble with the better teams when they came around. That won't be the problem this year.
  17. A lot of Punters here painting this trade as a net-win for the Bills. I don't see ANY way this is remotely true. My visions of the Bills LB's and entire secondary flailing at Hill as he ran by them, insultingly waving at them like they were standing still is still etched in my mind, and now that will happen 2 times a year! Chiefs will now be likely choosing 2 WR's in the 1st round, and likely getting BETTER given the talent available, with tons of cap space to boot! Further hurting the Bills chances of getting a decent WR in the draft. Plus Diggs is going to be looking for Hill/Adams money and the Bills can't come even remotely close. Diggs is hardly a wall-flower, and will likely be stirring things up shortly. This was NOT a good day for the Bills. They are still the favorites in the east, but it's not a slam dunk, and those two "Cakewalk" games against the Dolphins is no more. Don't forget, the Fins were having a great FA period before the Hill deal, and they have better new head coach. Bills 2022 schedule was already formidable, those two "Easy" games on the schedule are gone. The rivalry is back! The Dolphins will certainly remember all the recent poundings they have taken by the Bills.
  18. Does this impact Moss? Looks like Duke has similar skills, but seems more violent. (Of course all the highlights posted here were against the Jets). If he gains 300+ total yards it would be a nice signing.
  19. His ridiculous Watkins trade should have consigned him to Walmart greeter for life.
  20. Fitz..... If Colts were a QB away from being SB caliber team, they wouldn't have been blown out, and humiliated by the Jags in their most important game of the year. Not sure Reich is all that good either. Don't really care, the Colts belonged in Baltimore, the ownership are carpetbaggers. I hope they win 2 games next year.
  21. This was 5 years ago. Ancient history, and meaningless. I still like the pickup, but 5 years ago I was young, handsome, had money, and a wife.
  22. Cleveland fans on Browns Wire seem less than thrilled. 3 1st round picks + is beyond mortgaging the future, plus the real details of Watson's "peculiarities" have not even come out in any courtroom (Which they will). The worst is yet to come. Since the $230M is guaranteed, the Browns are on the hook either way. Been a lot of positive posts here about this being a good move by the Browns. Pretty odd given the circumstances and so many individuals involved. One wonders if Watson was up for possible murder charges, if that would have even mattered? It really is a QB driven league.... At all costs evidently.
  23. If they don't win the AFC East heads will roll, and they'll be anarchy in the streets. The Bills have ransomed EVERYTHING to win the SB over the next 2 years. The Pats have done less than nothing, and the Dolphins and Jets are still a few years away from playoff caliber. The Bills schedule is NOTHING like last years walk in the park, and will be loaded with difficult Sunday, and Monday night games. The pressure is on like never before. They better be ready.
