  1. Well unless the Bills win a Super Bowl next year, seems very likely Josh will be hoisting the Bills Super Bowl trophy in Austin or San Antonio. Both cities have said they would fully fund a stadium through local tourist industry taxes like Hotel - Car Rental - Entertainment industry. These "Tourist" based taxes do not impact local populations which is why they are easy to pass. If the Bills become available (Now very likely if state funding dries up) Other cities will look up ways to get one of the hottest teams in the NFL. Almost any other large city in the USA or even Canada will have a better chance of using local tourist taxes to fund a team vs. Buffalo which has almost no tourist industry to tap. Very sad day for Buffalo.
  2. Really? You think Kumerow rates that high on his or any ones radar at this time, with all the other things he is considering. Highly, highly unlikely. Maybe it rates above feeding his dogs today, but that's about it.
  3. Fitz. And the Bills draft Anthony Brown of Oregon in the 6th round to be Josh's understudy.
  4. Bills are finally relevant, so you start this string? For those who say they only watch Bills games. So what's the point of that? If everyone only cared about their own team, what's the point of winning a championship? There's no bragging rights, if no one else cares... Right? Very odd.
  5. Younger players whom (outside of Oliver) haven't proved sheet. Anyone who thinks that Hughes - Addison - Butler can just be replaced by Rousseau - Basham - Epenesa is crazy. The Bills aren't the Jets, they are looking to win the SB next year. Hughes and Addison were by far the most impactful players on the D-Line. Without them (Or signed FA equivalents) Bills go backward on defense, and struggle to win the East.
  6. Not without signing Phillips (Or signing an equivalent), And Basham - Rousseau - Espenesa stepping up. Without Hughes - Addison - Butler, no way the Bills get to the big games without the young D-line players getting to the next level. Bills won't even win the East if not.. Sorry.
  7. Country music absolutely sucks. Music for those with slack jaws, and missing teeth. Washed up entertainers go country when their careers are over. There are only 3 topics in country music - Drunk - Divorce - Dogs. That's it.
  8. If Rams get a TD it's over. Rams money players on defense get them the W. Darnold the MVP. ...... As stated 20 minute ago.
  9. Why not. He'll have won a huge game. Something the Bills haven't ever accomplished. To victor goes the spoils. Do you not watch sports? Grow up.
  10. The Golf was the best sports action on TV today. No refs to decide who wins.
  11. Refs taking over. The worst thing about the NFL.
  12. If Rams get a TD it's over. Rams money players on defense get them the W. Darnold the MVP.
  13. This seems like ANY Sunday game in October. Rams only have Kupp as a weapon, and the Bengals O-Line is looking like the Tennessee game. Might end 20-16.. This is when a hero is made..
  14. I have a lot of family in the Philly area. Their were many stories in the paper about how Wentz was despised by some of his Eagles teammates in Philly. Had a real "I'm a star" attitude once he got his big contract. He had a notorious incident in a Philly Steak House (Del Frescos) where he had some buds holed up in a side room with a velvet rope blocking the entrance. A 14 year old girl hoped the rope and went in and asked for his autograph. Wentz was incensed, told his entourage it was time to leave as he berated one of the managers for letting the girl through. Story was actually covered by a Philly paper at the time. Wentz denied that was the case, but many of those their confirmed. The Eagles owner knew he had a problem on his hands. Sounds like he's still a dick. He's the 100% opposite of Josh.
  15. Maybe he reads Two Bills Drive and thinks McDermott is doing a horrible job and is on the way out?
  16. Rashaad Penny? Leonard Fournette? He's still just 27. I'm sure the Seahawks want to retain Penny.
  17. Using the Bills D overall numbers ranking for this season, I can understand your thinking that the D is NOT the issue. (Not counting the sad collection of QB misfits the Bills mostly faced this season). I think your position is flawed. Despite the common wisdom on this thread and elsewhere that welcomes the coming departure of Hughes - Addison - Butler- (And possibly Philips) as an opportunity for the Bills to improve by saving some cap space. I see what's left after those departure, and outside of Oliver (Who is still a question mark as someone who would be counted on) I see the Bills defense as a HUGE problem thanks to Beans ineptness in picking D-Lineman. If anyone thinks that Rousseau - Basham - Espenesa can fill the shoes of the above names is delusional. Hughes still got great QB harassment grades, even without the sacks. Addison led the team in sacks once again, and could have easily had 11 sacks. Butler is solid, but not spectacular, but I'd take him over ANY of the three just mentioned in a nano second! Frankly, take away Hughes-Addison-Butler and the 2022 D looks comically not ready for primetime. Particularly when the Bills have SB aspirations and will be facing (Real) QB's next season. D-Line help isn't coming from the daft. The Bills have enough novices already in place. Sure the Bills could sign some folks, but they would still be question marks because the Bills aren't signing any (Can't miss)studs. I think the D-line looks to be a disaster, unless they re-think Hughes-Addison-Butler, and start redoing a whole bunch of contracts.
  18. Who knows if Spotrac has any credibility. But if they are reasonably accurate..... Goodbye. This years draft is loaded with CB's..
  19. Stayed with the easier job. Not much of a risk taker. Maybe the Vikes will take another look at Frazier? I'd prefer the Bills to have two new coordinators in 2022 to freshen things up. Frazier helped botch the Chiefs game.
  20. Sounds like Flores has a slam dunk case. Beleihick all but confirmed the scam. Every poster here knows the Rooney roll was a sham. I don't like the idea of quotas at all, but if you look at the NBA which is 74% black, and the coaching is about 45% black, Vs. the NFL which is 71% black, but head coaching is now 2% black, something's not right. I just don't believe that blacks can't be solid head coaches. Even the coordinator positions are only 20% black. Plus according to todays NYT's black coaches are 75% more likely to be fired after a WINNING season Vs. white coaches. You don't have to wonder if Dolphin's owner Ross would have made the ridiculous offer of paying a "$100K bonus" for each additional loss in 2020 if Flores was white.. I think not.
  21. Looks like Frazier's not getting hired away, and I think that's a big problem no matter who is playing defense next year. I'm sure McD will stick with Frazier and his D staff.... Sean Payton was analyzing the Bills D for ESPN yesterday and didn't mince words, in a way most coaches seldom do - The former Saints head coach referred the Bills late game defensive schemes as - "As the crime that was committed by Buffalo late in the game". The defensive crime came at 13 seconds - Payton- “We are playing football still—you can’t be defending the sidelines at all costs, like Buffalo was. You see when Travis Kelce catches that long pass to put them in field-goal range, a cornerback is defending an area of the field near the sidelines he doesn’t need to defend. Kansas City’s got two timeouts left!! —they don’t need to get out of bounds. Everything about what Buffalo did defensively at the most critical time was flawed". This wasn't rocket science. I think most high school coaches would have provided a better defensive scheme then what the Bills allegedly #1 defense put together at the moment of truth for the entire season. Frazier needs to go, or the Bills will find themselves in similar circumstances at critical times next year. As the Chiefs game proves. The Bills offense, and Josh can play a near perfect game, and still lose because of critical coaching mistakes. Bills were near the bottom in the league in winning games decided by 7 points or less. With Frazier, that trend will likely continue. This is the Bills biggest problem heading into next year.
  22. First, someone should take a crowbar to your keyboard. This post is 6 paragraphs too long, and seem like the ramblings of someone who has too much time on their hands. Coaches had Tom Brady figured out every year for 22 years. Allen has already been dissected like a lab frog. He'll have some bad games because he's human and had an off day. and if the Bills are a complete team and are solidly coached they should survive those instances. The travesty for the Bills is that the Bengals just proved that having a defense that is the 31st lowest paid, and an O-Line that is the 30th lowest paid, both made up with mostly of 5th thru 7 round picks can beat the Chiefs at home in the AFC Championship game, and make it too the Super Bowl. Bills are out of excuses.. This is topic worth 6 paragraphs. Not that Allen is going to be "figured out".. Stop.
  23. Doug Pederson - Why? Because he got the most out of Carson Wentz, he made Doug Foles (A career journeyman, who's done nothing since leaving the Eagles)a Super Bowl winner. Pederson also is a Super Bowl winning head coach, who coached an aggressive offensive style that Allen would love. He went on 4th downs plays/2 point conversions long before it popular, and Eagles players played hard for him. Plus, if/when McDermott cannot get the Bills to the promise land, Bills would have a Super Bowl coach in house!! Sign Him. Bills can't risk giving the OC job to a neophyte. Bills time is NOW!!
  24. Sure, why not. The Bengals are great underdog story. The last 2 years the team won 2 and 4 games, and now they are in the SB!! The Rams are the Yankees, they basically bought all their players. The Bengals story also proves that McDermott needs to be on the HOT seat next year. No more excuses. The Bengals D is full of 4th thru 6 round picks. There's not ONE stud. If the Bills don't get back to the AFC Championship next year, McDermott needs to go. Bills ownership needs to get tough. If the freaking Bengals can beat the Chiefs in KC, and get to a SB. The Bills coaching staff (And players) are out of excuses.
  25. "it wasn't meant to be our year". That's all you got? Pretty lame. When will it be "Meant to be our year"? When we win? Why do you even watch the games if it's up to things like the stars being aligned, or having your lucky Bills mug in your hand. I guess the 4 Bills super bowl loses were just "Meant to be"? Bills lost last week because their coaching staff were like dears in the headlights when it mattered most. I guess maybe that was just "Meant to be" as well... Maybe you should just stick to bowling.
