Sounds like it's time. Beane seems to want to keep Beasley. If the Bills keep him and manage to re-sign McKenzie, then maybe they use Stevenson when they want speed on the outside to pair with Diggs. I'm assuming Gabe Davis is being looked at as a starter on the outside with Diggs, but while he's not slow, he's no burner. I believe it is important for Beane to be cognizant of team speed, especially at the skill positions on offense as well as defensive back, linebacker and edge rusher on defense.

He was being facetious. Before the draft, Josh Rosen was touted by many as the most NFL ready QB. He was smart and philosophical, a real "Rennaisance man." Our Josh Allen just didn't get that much attention. In the draft,, a number of observers thought Buffalo should have drafted Josh Rosen. Hence, he was seen as the "right" Josh. Ridgeway likes Josh Allen and agrees the Bills made the right choice. He's using sarcasm too diss all who thought otherwise a few years ago. Josh Allen was indeed the smartest QB in that draft.

Well, I think Josh Allen is far superior to Mac Jones too, but Keyshawn Jones doesn't have a great deal of credibility. I seem to remember he thought Josh Allen was a loser a couple years ago.

I don't try to narrow it down to one pick I have to have. I'd rule out a bunch of players on that list. I'd be happy with Jermaine Johnson, Jordan Davis, Kenyon Green, Jamison Williams, Andrew Booth or Kaiir Elam. I could live with Trent McDuffie or Roger McCreary.

I want to like Moss, but the problem with depending on him as a power back is he always going to be undersized. He may have power for his size, but power and size go together. Being smallish, there's only so much power he can pack into his frame.

If Sanders and McKenzie are gone, I vote for speed. If the Bills think he's the BPA at #25, I'd be very happy with Jameson Williams. He happens to have good size at 6'2", but also has 4.3 speed. He'd go higher except he had an ACL tear in the college post season. If the Bills don't go that route, I like a receiver I just learned about at Buffalo Rumblings. Calvin Austin III is small, but may be the fastest player in the draft. The Bills could get him in the second round and possibly the third, though the third round might take a trade up. It would give the Bills a Tyreek Hill like receiver.

Very true. You end up having to pay out an elite level contract for a player who might end up being only very good, and the odds are decent that any of half a dozen players picked after #1 could end up having as much or more impact for their team.

Jumping 25 spots in round 1 is an insane draft strategy, and probably impossible. Add to that the fact that Aiden Hutchinson may have less value as a #1 overall pick than any #1 overall pick in the last 5 years at least, and you have a no brainer for a "No way" answer. Frankly, I pity the Jaguars for having picked this year of all years to secure the #1 pick. Beane should be run out of the building before the start of Round 2 if he makes that trade. Have I made my answer clear enough?

As a fan, I view Wallace more as a depth player. If the Bills pay him 9 mil per year, that means they see him as a starter. I would rather not see that.

I agree that Lamar Jackson is in a better place than Mayfield. He made the pro bowl for one thing, though I have no idea how he could have, comparing his stats with Josh Allen's. The main reason is that the Ravens went all in with Lamar Jackson's skill set when they hired Greg Roman as their OC, and built the team around Jackson's skill set. If the Ravens move on from Jackson, it means a considerable rebuild as there just aren't that many elite QBs with a skill set that's compatible with Jackson and the offense Roman has designed. As long as John Harbaugh thinks there is a possibility of winning with Jackson, I think the Ravens will try to hold on to him.

This year, more than some, there wouldn't be much point in a lottery. A number of pundits doubt that there are any prospects even worthy of the #1 overall pick, certainly no QBs. Most mocks have a defensive end going #1 overall, but there is not even unananimity about which one. I don't think #25 is a bad place to be at all this year. The Bills can get a good player and not have to pay nearly the money required early in the first round for contracts

Sometimes coordinators leave because they had aspirations of landing the head coaching job and feel slighted when they don't get consideration. That may have had something to do with Jim Schwartz leaving the Bills for the Eagles a few years back.

The problem is, their extra picks come in the last two rounds. As trade capital, they're not going to get you much of a return. If Davis drops into the 20s, they you can start to think about bundling them with #25. If you want to get real aggressive, it'll cost you picks that might otherwise turn into players who have a real chance to make the team. It depends on how badly you want him. BTW, I think he could be a real good addition to the Dline.

I don't think the odds of Tyler Lindenbaum being available are much higher than Jordan Davis. There is IMO a slim possibility. If the bills go for BPA, I'd be intrigued by Jamison Williams. It's almost a guarantee that there will be a cornerback available at #25 who represents decent value. I do think the Bills need to upgrade there. It would be nice if Andrew Booth were available, but it might end up being Trent McDuffie or Roger McCreary. There are also some offensive linemenI would mind in a Bills uniform: Kenyon Green or Darian Kinnard.

I'd like to see Daryl Williams stick around. Everybody else on the OP's list is easily expendable.

Yeah, Rochester has been named the best pizza city in the country. There are probably 15 pizza restaurants within a 5 minute drive of my house. The closest one happens to be Giuseppi's, the oldest pizza restaurant in the Rochester area.

As has been suggested, tackling has become more of a problem in the NFL because of the lack of opportunity for full contact practices in training camp, and that is governed by the agreement between the league and the players association. I can't remember the formal term for that agreement at the moment (senior moment).

Brady has worked with Jordan Palmer and should be on the same page as Palmer with regards to Josh Allen's development. He's highly regarded. Buffalo Rumblings thinks Buffalo hit a home run with this signing.
