  1. With our limited cap room, rb is NOT where we should be spending our money. If we make one more significant signing, I'm hoping it's Yannick Ngakoue, who could fill the speed-rusher role until Von comes back.
  2. Saffold may be one of the worst players to make the probowl. He would have been benched if Boettger was healthy.
  3. Morris and his family were at the pool at the Encore Las Vegas when a young boy went under the water. The 3-year-old had no pulse when he was taken out of the pool by his father. A lifeguard began CPR as Morris rushed over to help. “I saw people calling 911, so my first question was, where is the AED?” Morris told ESPN. Morris retrieved the automatic external defibrillator. “When I got back, we had a doctor on site who was able to start the compressions,” Morris said. “I was able to hand the AED to him, get it open for him, put the pads on the child, and he ended up being OK.” Morris credited the Rams’ recent CPR, AED and first aid training. Reggie Scott, the team’s vice president of sports medicine and performance, facilitated the session as part of league-wide training following Bills safety Damar Hamlin‘s cardiac arrest on the field last season. Doctors in Las Vegas discharged the young boy from the hospital 24 hours after his near-drowning. “I’m just thankful I knew what to do,” Morris said. “You just never know when you’re going to need that stuff.”
  4. Looks like they have an entry in the Caleb Williams speepstakes
  5. I think we would rotate receivers a ton (especially in the slot). Keeping every receiver at under 80% of the snaps would keep everyone fresh. I don't think we would necessarily trade a receiver like Davis considering it wouldn't create much cap room. If we wanted to sign Hopkins, I think we would need to trade Ed Oliver or maybe even Mitch Morse
  6. I think this is the best Bills backfield since we had Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch as a tandem. If Damien Harris stays healthy and our new guards play well, I think our offense will have a new level of physicality and we won't need to depend on Josh running as much
  7. I think how Elam progresses mentally and Tre White progresses physically from his injury will determine how good our secondary will be this season. CB is now a position of very good depth with Benford and Jackson able to start if needed. I still have no idea how they plan to use Taylor Rapp, but he excells against the run and could prevent us from getting run over in Nickel and dime sets.
  8. I agree that Lynn Swan is a good player, but his production is not HOF worthy. Harold Jackson had over 10,000 receiving yards playing in the same era, but is not in the HOF.
  9. Lynn Swann He was a part of a Pittsburg team that won championships, but he never even had a single 1000 yard season and he isn't even in the top 250 players in all-time receiving yards. For comparison, Ted Ginn Jr (who was considered a bust at wr) has more receiving yards than him.
  10. Quinnen Williams is definitely underpaid after playing great last season, but I bet the Jets will try to keep him on his current deal and franchise tag him next season. The Jets have a bunch of overpaid guys like CJ Mosley, Corey Davis, and Duane Brown that will make it hard to resign any of their star players after adding Aaron Rodgers.
  11. Just once I'd like to hear a GM answer a reporter's question with something candid like: "man, I really f****d up drafting that guy!" "He's way fatter in person" "Honestly, I just drafted him because he had a cool name"
  12. The weird thing about Epenesa is that I barely remember seeing him play last season, yet he somehow got 6.5 sacks. I think most of them came late in blowouts after the game was in hand and Von Miller was taken out. We don't have any DT's under contract beyond this season, so AJ Epenesa, DaQuan Jones, Tim Settle, Jordan Phillips, Poona Ford, Shaw Lawson, and Ed Oliver are all in contract years. I think they will all be playing hungry to win a Superbowl, prove their value, and then get a big deal in free agency.
  13. If they think we need more rb's then I question their knowledge of the team.
  14. I think Epenesa and Basham are in the same boat. They both need to be more consistent if they want to be a part of the D-line rotation. If Von Miller wasn't injured, I think one of them would have been traded for a late round pick.
  15. This is the most out-of-left-field signing the Bills have made in years. I had no idea he was still playing, but I'm glad he's getting a second chance. Shane Ray will be reunited with Von Miller, who he won a Superbowl with as a Bronco.
  16. I think this is the year the Browns finally put it together and are competitive in the division. They had an excellent draft despite not having a pick until the 3rd round and have a very talented roster. Consistent QB play has been their major weakness and if Watson can shake off the rust and build chemistry with his receivers, they should overtake the Ravens and be a legitimate threat to the Bengals.
  17. The Bills have announced that they have signed guard O’Cyrus Torrence (second round), linebacker Dorian Williams (third round), receiver Justin Shorter (fifth round), guard Nick Broeker (seventh round) and cornerback Alex Austin. This leaves their 1st round pick TE Dalton Kincaid as the only unsigned draft pick.
  18. It's nice to hear that he's a good blocker. Our screen game was non-existent because our receivers struggled to sustain blocks. We could run a 4 wr set with Kincaid and Sherfield in the slots and still be able to use some outside runs with Cook.
  19. Josh signed a $250 Million contract with a $4 Billion team that is part of a $140 Billion company and does national ads for Gillette, which is a $7 Billion company, but wearing silly pants to watch horses run is when he became too commercial.
  20. Bulking up isn't usually beneficial to a receiver as it can limit flexibility and hinder your ability to contort your body to catch passes. Hopefully, he focuses on flexibility and route running this offseason instead of adding muscle.
  21. I think the 49ers are so high just because the Rams, Cardinals, and Seahawks won't pose much of a threat in the division.
  22. I feel like a lot of people have forgotten about Dodson, but he fits the size profile of a mike linebacker and has been in the Bills system for 3 seasons. I'd still like to see an additional linebacker added in free agency to replace AJ Klein (he's very physical, but a liability in coverage). Maybe Myles Jack or Deion Jones could be brought in cheaply.
  23. There's quite a battle brewing for 3rd place in the division
