  1. They're just swapping out guys in the 7th wr spot. We still have better depth than we had going into last season.
  2. I think we brought enough talent at guard, but Tackle still concerns me. Rousseau seemed to get by Spencer Brown easily in practice and I hope Brandon Shell is given an opportunity to win the RT job.
  3. Gabe Davis was playing through injury last season and still has upside. I think if he has a hot start to the season, we'll sign him to a long-term deal. We have a lot of receivers in camp, but at least one of them is likely to get a minor injury during preseason and stashed on IR (either Shorter or Isabella)
  4. We could definitely use another outside receiver with size so I'm really hoping he pans out. He doesn't get much separation, but I'm hoping he can box out db's in the red zone.
  5. He doesn't have name recognition, but he was great last year. Saffold made the probowl last year so maybe it's not the best indicator.
  6. Yeah, he's an average cover corner with great ball skills and tries to bait the qb into throwing his way. He looks at the qb too much and lets his man get away from him frequently I think he just had Jairus Byrd style luck in 2021 and he'll never come close to those interception numbers again.
  7. I just hope for his sake that it's not a career ending injury. It's one thing to tear an ACL, but to have your knee smashed up between two pieces of machinery probably means a messy wound and his knee might never be 100%.
  8. The weirdest thing about last season was that there was a point where we won 8 games in a row, yet still qualitatively looked mediocre. There was a lack of energy for most of the season that culminated in the Bengals playoff loss.
  9. I think Belichick retires before he is ever fired by the Patriots. But if he did become available, I don't think it's crazy for a team without a defense coordinator to hire one of the best of all time. I doubt Frazier will be back with us next year. Belichick is 71 and may want to be a defensive coordinator so he wouldn't have to put in quite as many hours as a head coach while making just as much money.
  10. HOF talent, but too short to be a HOF career. I really expected him to come back after a year of recovery, but maybe it's for the best considering the severity of his injuries.
  11. You should check out the Youtube channel dataisbeautiful. They have video charts like this for everything and they give you a much better idea of trends over time than just cumulative stats.
  12. Every rep I've seen of Kincaid running routes looks extremely smooth for a guy his size.
  13. I have no idea why Diggs would want to be traded. He's making great money with a great team with a great qb who targets him a ton. He's not gonna have higher pay or production elsewhere
  14. The biggest weaknesses on offense last year were: Saffold at LG -replaced by McGovern Bates at RG - replaced by Torrence (eventually) Brown at RT -he will be a year removed from back surgery and he will compete with Shell Crowder/Mckenzie at Slot -replaced by Harty/Shakir/Sherfield/Kincaid (I think we will rotate a ton in the slot) We have clearly struggled to replace Beasley's consistency in the slot, but I think the diversity of options we have this year will give us a better ability to exploit matchups. I don't think there are a lot of slot corners with the ability to guard against Harty's speed and Kincaid's size.
  15. Couple things I think are incorrect: Leonard Floyd is a pass-rushing DE and will not be playing WLB in our system. The only reason he is listed there is because he played OLB with the Rams. Tyler Matakevich will not be the direct backup to Milano since he's really just a special teamer. Taron Johnson will not be Tre's direct backup, but he's only listed there because there is no Nickel CB spot on this depth chart. Personally, I think the depth charts on OurLads tend to be the most accurate: https://www.ourlads.com/nfldepthcharts/depthchart/BUF
  16. That rule change would also completely negate those forward push-pass jet sweeps (which I hope we'll do frequently with Deonte Harty)
  17. Phillips started the season playing like a wrecking ball, but that hamstring pull seemed to hold him back all year.
  18. I think a big component of the "Madden Curse" is that EA used to pick a player who only had one good season instead of consistent success. Peyton Hillis and Vince Young were absolutely ridiculous choices.
  19. With our limited cap room, rb is NOT where we should be spending our money. If we make one more significant signing, I'm hoping it's Yannick Ngakoue, who could fill the speed-rusher role until Von comes back.
  20. Saffold may be one of the worst players to make the probowl. He would have been benched if Boettger was healthy.
  21. Morris and his family were at the pool at the Encore Las Vegas when a young boy went under the water. The 3-year-old had no pulse when he was taken out of the pool by his father. A lifeguard began CPR as Morris rushed over to help. “I saw people calling 911, so my first question was, where is the AED?” Morris told ESPN. Morris retrieved the automatic external defibrillator. “When I got back, we had a doctor on site who was able to start the compressions,” Morris said. “I was able to hand the AED to him, get it open for him, put the pads on the child, and he ended up being OK.” Morris credited the Rams’ recent CPR, AED and first aid training. Reggie Scott, the team’s vice president of sports medicine and performance, facilitated the session as part of league-wide training following Bills safety Damar Hamlin‘s cardiac arrest on the field last season. Doctors in Las Vegas discharged the young boy from the hospital 24 hours after his near-drowning. “I’m just thankful I knew what to do,” Morris said. “You just never know when you’re going to need that stuff.”
  22. Looks like they have an entry in the Caleb Williams speepstakes
