  1. I would rather take a wr in both the 1st and 2nd round than trade up to the top 15 for a receiver. Adonai Mitchell or Brian Thomas may be there at #28 and then take McConkey, Franklin, or Wilson at #60.
  2. RB - Ray Davis - Kentucky I think he may end up being the best running back in the draft. He didn't have a great combine, but he simply knows how to play ball. WR - Roman Wilson + Javon Baker The only reason they aren't being discussed much is that this draft is loaded with receivers. Both are good route runners with great hands. CB - Kamari Lassiter - Great player but his weight (180 lbs) might be scaring away some teams
  3. I'd give him a workout if released, but he's not worth giving up a significant draft pick.
  4. I doubt Benson is in the mix for the Bills considering he just had a great combine and will probably be gone by our 2nd round pick (#60) I think Audric Estime and Ray Davis are more realistic options as mid-round power backs.
  5. Mods, can you change my username to Allen2TBD
  6. Coincidentally, the team later signed Christian Wade to replace him https://www.barrons.com/news/gloucester-sign-wade-after-rees-zammit-s-nfl-move-3add92c2
  7. This is the draft that drove me crazy back in the drought years. 2006 feels like an eternity ago, but Mercedes Lewis is actually still active. He started 225 games while our pick John McCargo started 1.
  8. Defensive end is still a big need and we can't go into the year with Von as our only speed rusher. DT, DE, S, IOL, and WR are all needs that will need to be addressed in the draft and/or late free agency. This draft seems loaded with WR, DT, and Safety prospects and I'm hoping that Beane resists the temptation to trade up and instead uses all of the picks at his disposal to inject this roster with youth.
  9. At least he's signing with the Panthers so we can get him in 2 years
  10. Bills fans need to band together and refuse to pay these insane PSL fees. The stadium is already being built and the organization can't scare us with a fake moving out of Buffalo narrative. Paying $10,000 for a "seat license" doesn't make you a superfan, just an easy mark.
  11. Right now I think Rapp and Edwards are placeholders at safety and a rookie will be brought in to compete for one of the starting spots. DT is thin and at least one rookie will be added to the rotation. We added Samuel and Hollins, but I still don't think we have a true #2 receiver after losing Gabe Davis. This is a deep draft at receiver and I think we should take the best available at #28.
  12. Risky move as a receiver to sign with a team without a QB.
  13. If $10 Million per year is the high end of the RB market, I think we can afford a cheap power back to compliment James Cook later in free agency like Dobbins, Foreman, or AJ Dillon.
  14. "reworked" sounds more like a pay cut than just a restructure I'm glad Von and Knox were willing to take less money after a down year.
  15. I hope he either wins a starting role or gets traded. He's too talented to ride the bench all season again.
  16. He played very well when in the lineup last season and $3 Million per year for a starting quality guard is a great deal.
  17. I don't think we go DT in round 1, but I think we draft multiple just because we need to completely replenish that position group. Hopefully we can sign another run-stuffer cheaply as well.
  18. The comparison here is Trey Lance because of the draft position and cap hit and the 49ers were able to get a 4th round pick. There are a few teams out there with a ton of cap room who want to add a qb to the competition. I think the Commanders, Bears, Patriots, and Raiders could deal a late round pick for him.
  19. I'm just impressed that his hat stayed on the whole time
  20. This is a deep draft class for wide receivers and we need to draft more than one. I hope we wait until the later rounds to address the D-line and sign a veteran instead.
  21. He improved a ton throughout the course of the season and I think he was thrown into the starting lineup too early after his recovery from back surgery. I think we still need to draft an OT as some point considering Tommy Doyle can't seem to stay healthy.
  22. I would love to pair him with a young power rb like Ray Davis or Audric Estime.
  23. I agree, I don't think any qb really separated themselves from the pack by putting up huge numbers this season. CMC would get my vote.
  24. I really think Beane will try to move some players for draft picks in the offseason. We have a lot of needs and not enough cap room to address them in free agency.
