  1. Drew Sanders isn't a good scheme fit for us (reminds me of Troy Anderson who the Falcons drafted last year) If he's the best available LB at #27, I'd rather take the best offensive lineman available.
  2. This draft is the perfect opportunity to finally address TE #2. Having two tight ends that can block and get open would give us a deadly play action game.
  3. Now we just need to add a veteran lb so we can go BPA in the draft without reaching.
  4. I think he may get traded during the draft for a 4th rounder if we take a DT in the first three rounds. We have no DT's under contract for 2024 and we need to replenish the trenches with young talent.
  5. I'd like to add some size to our receiving group, but Robinson hasn't been very productive the past couple years and I'd rather draft a receiver than give up a pick for Robinson. I'd like to draft AT Perry in the mid rounds to give Josh a 6-4 red zone threat receiver.
  6. I still think TE and OL are possibilities at #27. I don't want any defensive players in the first other than Jack Campbell.
  7. This is my favorite signing so far! He's a great complimentary back to Cook and is a violent runner when healthy.
  8. Beckham has been trying to get signed for about 4 months and the Cowboys just traded for Brandin Cooks, which probably takes them out of the running. He would be better off playing with an elite qb for a year and getting a bigger contract afterwards. He hasn't reached 1000 yards since 2019 and his health is a concern.
  9. I think we should wait until after the draft and then offer him a one year deal around $8 Million if we don't draft a receiver in the first few rounds.
  10. I would rather draft a speed pass-rusher in the middle rounds of the draft. Pass rushers are expensive in the open market and we need that money to add another offensive lineman, safety, and slot receiver.
  11. I think he will be out gadget guy on end arounds, punt returner, #4 wr and deep threat. We still need a true slot receiver to move the chains and McKenzie isn't that guy.
  12. Every free agent thinks that they are going to cash in big, but the more time passes, the more they realize that their value might not be as high as they thought. Good players will still be available in a week, and they will have lowered their contract expectations and might be willing to sign a cheap one year prove-it deal with a contender.
  13. Yes, but we were already about $16 Million over the cap, and then we signed Matakevich, Dodson, Cam Lewis, Sam Martin, and Ike Boettger. I'm not sure exactly how much cap we have after all of that, since the full contract details haven't been released for all of them.
  14. I think we will probably wait for the dust to settle and sign some discount free agents at safety, receiver, and linebacker. Even after the restructures, we only have ~$15 Million in cap and still have a rookie class to sign.
  15. Jordan Love looked pretty bad in limited playing time as a rookie and has definitely benefited from having a couple years to develop behind Rogers. Green Bay can now trade Rogers for a couple 1st rounders and built around Love. They still have him for 3 more years with the 5th year option and can franchise him for a year after that. Aaron Rogers sat for a couple years behind Favre and that seemed to only help his development.
  16. The Bears got a ton of draft capital and DJ Moore instantly upgrades their receiving corps. Now they need to shore up the offensive line and continue to rebuild the defense after trading away Roquan Smith and cutting Trevathan.
  17. I would like to tag-and-trade Edmunds for a 3rd rounder, then take Jack Campbell in the 1st, a receiver in the second, and a guard and safety in the 3rd (I'm assuming we don't re-sign Poyer.
  18. They should just tag-and-trade Jones to the Jets or Raiders, then draft a qb. He's worth $20M per year at most.
  19. If healthy, he's definitely an upgrade over Saffold.
  20. If your qb needs to practice falling down in the off-season, maybe it's time to upgrade the o-line.
  21. Considering Poyer is likely gone and Hyde is recovering from a neck injury, I would rather keep then all and cross-train then to play safety. Having too many good young defensive backs on cheap contracts isn't a problem.
  22. Michael Thomas had 1725 receiving yards in 2019, which was also the last season in which Odell Beckham has over a thousand yards (1035)
  23. Michael Thomas had 1,700 yards in his last full season and if he's 100% healthy, then he's the top wr available. Offensive line is the bigger concern, but we definitely need to give Josh another consistent weapon next season.
  24. The weird thing about Allen's interceptions is that they are very rarely on 50-50 balls. He tends to lose sight of a defender playing zone coverage underneath and he thinks he can gun it past them.
