The Chiefs get every break, it’s kind of amazing. The QB just drops the ball and gives you a free TD? Did the Bills get a free TD like that this entire season?

I said Jets, but I think it is really close. If we had healthy and fully back to form Hyde, Von Miller and Tre White (and maybe Poyer) then I think I would take the Bills. But a lot of question marks next season around health for us.

My memory may be faulty, but I distinctly remember Mahomes giving Joe Burrow the ball with time for a game winning time expiring drive. KC defense stood up. Then Mahomes was gifted a personal foul penalty for a game winning field goal on the next drive (it was a penalty but not because of some great play by Mahomes unless you count the flop). It wasn’t some convincing win where he was slinging it all over the place.

Andy Reid was universally considered a great coach in Philly, idk where you were at the time. He especially had the reputation of being a “QB Guru”. His only knock was not being able to win the Super Bowl because he made 5 conference championship games and 1 Super Bowl but couldn’t get over the hump. Kind of similar to McDermott now actually.

He wouldn’t be the same on the Bills, or really any team that didn’t have Reid. They mesh so well. Allen finished third in voting btw, which is still a pretty great season for all you haters out there.

COTY award is actually the “coach that turned a god awful roster to be somewhat respectable” award. Otherwise Belichick would have won it for a decade straight and Reid would have won it for the last 5 years including this year.

When will people learn that the dollar amount isn’t important in these contracts? It’s only there to make the agent feel important. Here is what is important: - Guaranteed Money - Signing Bonus and dead cap - Ability to restructure You could sign a $120 million dollar contract that basically gives the team a free out after 3 years.

Kind of brutal that a very similar thing happened on the field just months later. Hope Kim can continue to improve. I know someone who had a severe TBI with similar symptoms to what she has now and he was able to improve a lot over 5 years. The brain is weird in how it can rewire itself.

It was a hard catch because it was a bullet behind him and he had stop all of his momentum to try to go back for it. Idk if I would call it a drop necessarily, but you’d like him to have it.

Defense looks a lot better when McDermott is calling plays or more involved (I remember him specifically instructing Milano to shoot a gap which led to big plays one game). I think scheme is influenced heavily by McDermott, but Frazier is otherwise in charge including play calling.

Let Singletary walk, let Hines walk, draft a RB in the later rounds to be 3rd down back (maybe look for pass blocking potential there and short yardage). Use the saved cap to sign an actual good veteran guard.

I think the system QB argument kind of goes out the window considering he left that system and immediately won another one.

His agent said the charges will be dropped, which I think means they paid off the victim. Apparently this is just a misdemeanor in Ohio, so he should skate on it.

Poyer blew at least 3 coverages for TDs in the playoffs this year. Not sure if that was on him or the coaching.

There are only like 5 true #1 RBs in the entire league that don’t split carries. Motor isn’t one of those guys, but he can be a starter in a RB committee on pretty much any team in the league. He has good vision, strength and balance. He lacks top end speed, which will always keep him out of that top group. With our cap situation, we should probably let him walk and replace him with a cheap rookie and hope Cook can take the majority of carries next year.

A lot of keyboard warrior tough guys on this board. Some of the same posters probably can’t handle the adversity of having to walk from the couch to the kitchen to get another bag of chips. When you have to deal with some sort of major incident every 2-3 weeks for the entire season it’s going to wear on you. I’ll add Tre White never really returning to form from his ACL injury. He basically got the level of Dane Jackson. It was always a possibility, but a bit of bad luck and was probably a bummer to watch for his teammates. Next year hopefully we have a nice uneventful season with minimal injuries and Hyde, White, and Miller feeling fully healthy and confident for a playoff run.

They can have 2 good UCLs between them. Both on the non-throwing arm though 😕

Bates would deserve to go more than Saffold. He won’t even be in the league next year.

It’s crazy to pay Allen all that money and not protect him better. Chiefs went all in on their o-line after the Bucs SB debacle and now they are back. We need to sign a real starting quality veteran and draft an o-lineman with one of the first two picks. Dawkins can be very good and Bates/Morse are okay (not great), but the other two spots have been a turnstile.
