If we let Poyer and Edmunds walk and draft their replacements, that will free up cap to sign FA for offense. There is a way to draft defense and still get Allen more help.
I agree with the poster that said the Bills offense is tough for offensive lineman. We don’t run much or have a short passing game. Then you also have Allen improvising back there which is tough as well to guess which way you should go.
I’m just hoping the coaches have a better idea than we do. We absolutely need better play out of LG and RT. Also C is a retirement risk.
It’s just such a close and fast play when the defender is keyed in on stopping him from running up the sideline. I feel for the defender who needs to react at incredible speed on whether to shove or not.
Keep in mind Mahomes has made a living pretending to step out of bounds and then tip toeing for another 4 yards. All that said it is a penalty, just unfortunate.
He definitely gave him a shove out of bounds. Mahomes definitely flopped like a fish when he felt contact.
Probably couldn’t believe his luck when the hand touched his shoulder.
I’m not sure why, but I feel like we would have played a lot better vs the Chiefs this week. Something about last week was just weird about the matchup or something. Bad vibes the whole day and no energy.
I think they bring back neither. The expectation is that Cook will carry the load and we’ll bring in a very cheap vet or late round pick to be the third down back.
Hines can be cut with no dead cap. He’s probably a goner.
We didn’t have Saffold who seems worse than Williams at G last year. Spencer Brown also looked worse to me. He had off-season back surgery and didn’t have any training camp. For a big guy like him that can be a career killer.
Idk if it’s on Kromer or Dorsey, but we only seemed to have like 2 running plays. Maybe get creative and add a few more for next year to make things more difficult for the opposing team.
I said Benford, not Bernard. Benford played safety in college some so it isn’t that big of a stretch. He’s also a late round pick, so if I were him I would do anything to get on the field as a starter.
Oliver’s 5th year option is fully guaranteed and his stats haven’t been that great. Idk if you will find a trade partner. Might have to sit tight with him and hope he improves.
I think they are going to give Benford every opportunity to win the starting safety job. This is a budget year and we need to find adequate cheap solutions where possible. Hopefully Hyde is well enough to return. Sounds like Poyer might be gone.
