  1. I get it, I like physicality as well. When they are jumping on our OL after the play, hitting the QB after the play it is football. Just not clean football, it's not KCs fault, the refs start to call it and they knock it off. The refs didn't so they continued to do it. The right thing to do for Buffalo was start doing the same and force the refs hand at doing something. Sadly they didnt.
  2. Not at all. KC wins that game 8/10 times easy. Do I think KC got by with more than Buffalo? Yeah I do. Wouldn't have changed the outcome of the game though. Bucs-Packers was the hose job with the PI to end the game. They let both teams club each other all game then changed course on an uncatchable ball to end it. Packers have a gripe. Buffalo wasn't good enough on that day regardless of how the refs called it.
  3. Most competitors like Watson give these things little thought, he believes he can beat anyone, rightfully so.
  4. I'm hopeful after this year's ending he realizes playing it safe will make him at best a perennial bridesmaid at best. Josh didn't play his best game either, maybe his performance effected the play calling idk.
  5. He's a great morale guy and he is really good at what he does. I know it isn't catching and making touchdowns so we aren't impressed. He is definitely good at blocking, and he also made some sneaky plays in the pass game.
  6. No reason to let him walk. Not like we're talking about huge money. He knows the system and until proven otherwise is our 2nd best outside corner.
  7. I don't think he would come to Buffalo for super cheap, he would go back to the seahawks. He seemed to enjoy his season there and if he's playing cheap anyways.... With that said for cheap, yeah why not? But I wouldn't offer alot. He chose to be a mercenary and didn't produce, thats on him.
  8. We will never get him at 30, but Patrick Surtain Jr is a great player.
  9. It's not a horrible strategy honestly. Though you never get an Aaron Donald, Mahomes, Josh Allen etc. Type player with that strategy. But again as pointed out, the risk of being wrong on a guy is big too.
  10. What's his end game? He's under contract for 3 more years. Sit for 3 years, be 28 years old and 3 years removed from football? I would play hardball right back, I'm not sure he has the leverage he thinks he does. If I'm the Texans the only way I trade him is if he waives the trade clause so I can at least get the best deal.
  11. I get the whole not being happy with a situation, and Watson definitely has a legitimate gripe to be upset. I'm not sure as a team I want to trade for someone who signed a contract less than a year ago (Obviously when he was already unhappy) and then chooses to hold said team hostage because he didn't get his way. If it's your only option to get a QB I get it, otherwise I would think about it long and hard. Might be you jumping through hoops to please him to avoid a hostage situation.
  12. Even Tyreek Hill was unimpressed during his first year in practice. Now everyone claims Mahomes was "the best QB workout before the draft ever" which is completely untrue. That takes nothing away from Mahomes, he is in a really good situation so he will continue to prosper. I for one was stoked Buffalo traded down and got Tre, hindsight? Eh Buffalo did just fine. They went from a playoff team with a game manager QB to a playoff team with a great QB, easy jump. Buffalo went from a 9-7 lucky to get in the playoff team to a playoff team because they got better QB play, I think both QBs had a tremendous positive effect on their respective teams, the Chiefs just had more going when Mahomes got there.
  13. Smith has a feel for getting open, definitely not the most raw talent at reciever for Alabama as of late. He is the hardest worker though, which makes a difference in the NFL. I'm a lifelong Bama fan so maybe I'm discounting some of his talent. Though I wouldn't have any worries of him flaming out for lack of effort.
  14. Well he shouldn't get it from Buffalo, hopefully for him he finds what he wants. Our lack of ability to cover TEs (all TEs not just kelce, we were nearly worst in the league against them) doesn't scream keep the band together. Get Edmunds some help, Edmunds isn't all pro level but he definitely has potential.
  15. Try living in the gulf coast region year round...the heat is brutal. Though we don't see any cold that comes close to you guys.
  16. Newton made a bad decision (or followed bad advice) when he injured his shoulder. Essentially the same injury Andrew Luck suffered, it took luck what 18 months to recover? Newton continued to play further damaging the shoulder. He was never the same after the shoulder injury. I know he had a foot issue and various other things but they were all manageable. I think the shoulder injury hurt his arm strength and he never had the accuracy to make it work without the strength.
  17. I think you are probably right, maybe, can't say for sure. Though I don't think Watson would be as good of a fit in Buffalo, so I would stick with Allen.
  18. He isn't on a team, technically not an NFL player so I understand why the league has remained silent. Though they did make it clear that Antonio Brown would be placed on the exempt list if he were signed while under investigation. So maybe do that? But again, Antonio Brown had a legit shot to get signed, this guy has zero chance for a contract right now. The guy should spend the max in jail/prison that is available when he is found guilty though.
  19. NFL is very biased in the way they see things. KC is good taking nothing away from them, but they are about to get the Brady/NE treatment.
  20. It's fitting they had Ramsey and Hopkins on together, they are definitely 2 of the harder players to like. All-Pro players for sure though.
  21. Bummed I can't go this year, very limited tickets. It's only 30 minutes from my house.
  22. I still don't believe Henry would be available. They will tag him if they have to, and I'm thinking he knows he has a QB in Herbert. Rudolph is a better pass catcher than he gets credit for, Diggs left Minnesota for lack of opportunity in a run first offense and Rudolph suffers from that as well. Not that I would be against Henry obviously, just don't think it's realistic
  23. He is definitely not available, though I would counter with Rudolph from the Vikings. Expect him to be a cap casualty since the can't afford him and they have Irv Smith Jr., Rudolph already made it clear no pay cut will be expected. With the lower salary cap you could probably get him cheaper than usual spreading out a signing bonus. He isn't my first pick but it's realistic. Receivers should be fine if Davis continues to develop.
  24. The pick where the DB pulled the jersey off the Wideouts shoulder pad and wasn't called? Then you put it on Rodgers? Yeah ok 👌
