  1. I was for it during the draft and I still stand by it, Drafting J.K. Dobbins would have been smart.
  2. Watson would agree in a heartbeat. Do you think the 49ers are that turned off by Jimmy G though? His injuries have to be frustrating, I'm just curious if they would mortgage their future to upgrade him.
  3. After the coaching hires in Detroit and the fact Watson has a no trade clause, this is dead before the phone rings.
  4. Not sure it's absolutely needed but I wouldn't oppose it. I think alot of teams would use the opportunity to shed a bad decision needed or not though.
  5. With the core they have middle of the road guys will look good simply because the defense won't have time to focus on them. Mahomes, Hill, and Kelce will need to be stopped to stop their dynasty.
  6. I'm rooting for a stadium implosion. Brady I can't root for, Mahomes is ok but KCs fans are horrid...so there's that
  7. The Buccaneers may get crushed but don't be shocked if it's close. TB has a pass rush and a running game, also Devin White is a beast at MLB. I don't think it makes Buffalo that much farther off, as I think we could play with TB. I do however think TB is much better equipped to handle KC.
  8. KC could have hung 50 if they tried IMO. Playing more aggressive on 4th downs and forcing them to do so obviously gives you a better chance. I don't think the outcome of the game necessarily changes. I would have went for every 4th down against Mahomes.
  9. While I agree our coaching staff was not good when EJ came in, I still can't see him ever being successful. He was not that mobile, his athleticism never jumped off the screen at you. We can agree to disagree but the easy stuff for EJ was hard, all around bad pick. Though EJ was a good guy, just not a good QB.
  10. Whaley isn't wrong, but his knockout punch was EJ Manuel. For clarification McD definitely coached scared.
  11. This will get worked out, not the least bit worried. Good teams pay the stars and draft young talent as well as bring in vets as role players. If they can't figure that part out this won't last long anyways. Everyone can't get paid, like Milano, he's good but something tells me we will live without him. So because his parents had money he should eat it? Nah, he puts his body on the line. Advice to him is get a market deal, make it somewhat team friendly and he can make concessions on a year to year basis if the team has cap issues. No way I would take less and put the ball in their court. To bring up his parents monetary value is crazy to me.
  12. He's trying to force a trade, he's mad about the way the game was called, FGs and what not. He doubts they will give him a new deal with a 1st round QB on the roster.
  13. So you honestly think Edmunds and Oliver are worth no more than a 4th? Dawkins? Milano? Davis? These guys are not all pros I understand that, but you act like they wouldn't even touch the field for another team.
  14. Have they lived up to their draft positions? No, not really. Can you go open a trash can and replace them today with no fall off? No. They are valuable members of the team, you can't blame them for being drafted too high. I think Edmunds will be fine, in zone he follows the QBs eyes too much instead of doing what his role is in the zone coverage, but ah well, hopefully he outgrows it.
  15. Simple answer and I support the idea for the entire league actually. Athletes are not paid to be props during the national anthem, if you want to stand, sit,or do a head stand is your right to freedom. As a organization I wouldn't want to force anyone to do anything they didn't want to nor deal with the fallout of x number of players doing some demonstration. I personally support the national anthem but hey that's my choice. Stay in the locker room and let everyone do what they are comfortable with without causing distractions from what you pay them to do. Play football.
  16. A large difference is McD came from the school of Reid when Reid played it safe, you know all those years in Philly where he won nothing. Now Reid just throws caution to the wind and takes chance after chance. McD seems to want to be safe over and over, which is ok if you want to be a good not great team. He's going to have to trust the players he put on the field and let them go get it or get blown out trying. I'd rather see them lose by 30 than watch a replay of last night's "play it safe" championship game.
  17. Mahomes don't play defense, I understand he put up points but that should have no effect on Allen.
  18. I can agree with this, GB/TB they only decided to call it when the game was on the line. KC got by with murder on our wide outs, though even if it's called fairly I'm not sure we could have beat them. Hill, Kelce, and Mahomes are monsters and probably could have put up 50 last night if it was needed. We need a better option at TE for sure.
  19. Obviously I'm biased, but KC DBs have a different set of rules than Buffalo's. Is what it is, but the way they called penalties was atrocious.
  20. I think KC is getting by with alot of grabbing but it is what it is. Have to find a way.
