Absolutely astonishing that people are on here questioning Beane's ability as a GM. Everyone makes mistakes. He built a roster that got us to the AFCCG, calm down. Of course unless all that was sarcasm then I retract.

I really hope Buffalo at least attempts it. Obviously don't break the bank but within reason.

Watson vs Allen.
Southern_Bills replied to Marvlevydraftdaygenius's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The actual answer is its not worth giving up anything because they are both good. I personally like Allen better, probably biased, but always be weary of QBs who put up huge numbers but it doesn't actually net wins for the team. Dak Prescott is a stats monster but I wouldn't trade for him. -
FSU is still full of talent. Sadly the coaching staff is a dumpster fire. Probably a few good sleepers down there.

Would the Bills have beaten the Bucs?
Southern_Bills replied to QB Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought we could before TBs playoff run. That Defense came alive and it was curtains. I do not think we could have beat them of Feb. 7th. -
Mcshay Mock has Najee Harris to Buffalo
Southern_Bills replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Harris would be a nice pick IMO. With that said there will be a number of fine OL and DL available there. I haven't kept up with all the prospects this year so I'm not sure how one position group stacks up to others as far as depth. I do know Harris is top 2 at his position at least. -
A complete offense matters
Southern_Bills replied to FieldGeneral's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is true but before the SB everyone swore KC was a "complete" offense. Sometimes it's just who's playing better that week. P.S. still get a running game, it will definitely help but don't be shocked if you still look bad Sometimes. -
With the salary cap being down I don't think there will be alot of tags being thrown around by the league in general. How foolish does Dak Prescott look right now refusing to sign last year. No way he gets the same offer.

I'm not saying it's the right thing to do but very few humans can say they wouldn't help their offspring prosper given the chance. Should the NFL crackdown? Would be rather hard to do so considering it's all backroom deals with no proof.

Brady deserves his props. He didn't put up eye popping numbers and yes that defense was on fire for the Packers game and the SB. Don't discount Bradys leadership though, when he was going after Mathieu it infuriated the KC defense and juiced all his teammates. Still don't like him, but he does his thing.

Thoughts and prayers for Zerovoltz here

KC just learned the NFL may "like" them, but they LOVE Brady. You can't play Brady's Recievers physical, called everytime.- 297 replies

It's not muzzled IMO. I am curious if the league would let a player with Britts history even have a job, or let them trot out on SB Sunday after this event. IMO the league should block him from the facility pending investigation. I know he isn't someone that will cause KC to win or lose, it isn't about that.

To all the people saying substance abuse issues are complicated, hard to deal with etc. I get it and you are correct. Though that's one side of it, and I can guarantee propping the abuser up with a 200-300k/yr job after multiple run ins with LEO is not a way to get them to wake up. They never feel the consequences of their actions, this guy has a family and lives in a very nice house with enough money to do whatever he wants within reason. I'm sure he doesn't see a real problem with his actions since his life is lovely. Outside of all that though, the NFL should have had him in the substance abuse program at the very least just like a player. Andy should have either not employed his son anymore so he would realize his actions do have consequence, or had him on a tight leash as far as substance abuse, no way this is his first time in "years" or anything.

I don't think dragging every KC player in this conversation is worth while. Focusing on what's going on now is simply this isn't a first offense, the NFL had red lights and sirens in front of them. They suspended a linebacker for insider trading on the stock market one time 🤣. Somehow this guy has a job. How? Find that out and fix it.

I understand what your saying and you aren't wrong. Though when one individual has all these charges I thinks it's time to say "thanks but no thanks". Josh Gordon was banned for less. Not saying let Gordon back in, but I definitely wouldn't want this bad decision maker working for my franchise. Maybe I'm the crazy one.

Obviously the Bills are not in on this, but if a team I was a fan of gave up a first for him I would feel like Aaron Maybin was drafted all over again. He was very inconsistent in college, did absolutely nothing to change that perception in the pros. I believe Indy is a team that just needs a QB(hello Derek Carr?) But if Darnold went there they may as well fold up tent. Not going anywhere.

Stefon Diggs on Radio Row 2/4
Southern_Bills replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Diggs did alot for Allen's confidence. It was definitely both of them that made a difference this year, but I think Diggs gave Allen some swagger and encouraged him to be the vocal leader. Not saying Allen can't do it without him now, but Diggs was instrumental to it. Hopefully they stick together though. -
The Great Tremaine Edmunds Debate
Southern_Bills replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Edmunds is a good player, great? Maybe not yet. Here's the real question, how do you get better at the position? I would say that's hard to do on the fly. I would keep Edmunds and get some help in front of him. We are trying to fix something that is no where near the weakest point of our team. -
I get it, I like physicality as well. When they are jumping on our OL after the play, hitting the QB after the play it is football. Just not clean football, it's not KCs fault, the refs start to call it and they knock it off. The refs didn't so they continued to do it. The right thing to do for Buffalo was start doing the same and force the refs hand at doing something. Sadly they didnt.
