I think they will go after Morse and/or Paradis hard. From Bean's comments it does not appear to me they are banking on Long as a starter at Center, but rather quality depth and competition at C/G. If they land either of the two top FA centers, then that position will not be as much a priority in the draft. Best possible outcome here is Morse or Paradis, Long as backup, Bodine to the curb.

You make a very good point about Metcalf. Production matters, and it is also something the Bills value highly per many interviews with McBean. He might be great, but maybe not. Personally, I prefer a focus on the lines at 9, although I suspect Metcalf now goes before then anyway.

Anyone who had the misfortune of listening to him last year on MNF could confirm he is not very bright.

I would assume the Bills and he disagree on his value and I expect once he realizes they are closer than he is to reality, he may well be back. He will not be a hot commodity but does have some value as a rotational player. They would be crazy to pay him any other way.

I am in North Port. There are a number of options here. I have hooked up with the local Bills Backers and and watched several games this past season at the local watering hole which is very close to my house. Lots of transplanted WNYs around here.

It figures. I lived in Frederick 23 years and just moved to FL last year. It would have been great to have a local place to watch Bills games, although I expect the food might suck. This is in the place that was the Tilted Kilt. Frederick is a great little city. The historic downtown is special. Fabulous restaurants and bars.

It may be that Star was not a good value, but I think there is little question he outperformed Dareus in the role he was asked to play. The real Dareus, what he had become, not the version he was when he was signed to the rich contract. The fact is that Dareus had become an overweight, lazy, malcontent who was hurting the team by his presence. Nothing in his performance since going to Jacksonville would suggest otherwise. The Bills were better in the long term to be rid of him, even if they suffered in the short term, and even if they overpayed (at the same level they were paying the problem child) for an equal or better replacement. The Defense improved.

This would be a fantastic haul in FA. Center is clearly the number 1 priority, with G and T 1a. Filling even two of these positions with quality starters would be a win - all three a home run. While looking for a good WR prospect in the draft is also a priority, I would rather find an experienced WR in FA who can contribute immediately. Rather than 2 WR in FA, I would like to see a TE as the next priority. McCoy makes a great deal of sense for the Bills, and I would love to see this happen.

TJ would be great to have but if the Bills leave Round 1 without having addressed OL or DL I am going to be pissed. My preference is OL. They may be able to plug a couple of immediate holes in the short term in FA, but they need to start committing some high end draft capital to the OL. It is the only way to build. They certainly have a need for a TE, but a first round TE is a luxury at the this stage of their development.

Great move with Dorsey and a big step up from Cully in that role I think. As for Hall, he has been here, is a former player at the position, and has learned from different coaches in his time with the Bills. Those are positives. Like everyone else here, I know nothing beyond that. It is still hard to believe that it is shocking to some that executives hire people they are familiar with and trust, or that people want to work for people they are familiar with and trust.

Yes, he got benched for one play for being late for the team bus. Hardly makes him a locker room cancer. Foster credited Shady for helping him get his head on straight after he was cut and then signed to the practuce squad. That is a much better measure of his locker room value IMO.

According to the article, the Jets coach joined in 2016 taking over the 31st ranked ST unit. It was his first job as the head ST coach having been an assistant since beginning a coaching career after a 10 year NFL career as a standout ST player. (Sound familiar?). They were 30th his first year, 20th in 2017, and 1st last year. Perhaps our guy, with the same pedigree, can manage to make more than a jump from 31 to 30 his first year. Having a healthy punter and Haushka hopefully fully recovered from his cheap shot injury should help with that.

Not to be seen as trying to throw shade on the next big thing, Patrick Mahomes, but I saw plenty of throws from him these last two weeks that were way off target. It happens. Most of Allen's completion percentage issue was due to drops, miscommunications, throw always, and simple rookie mistakes. Very few way off target as you claim. Some - sure. Room for improvement - sure. But accuracy issues with Allen are way overblown.

Steal of a deal. The Bills should be grooming a replacement, but Lorenzo is crucial for next year in terms of leadership, and can obviously still play. They will be looking for a replacement to groom in this year's draft I believe.
