  1. Missing Poyer against the Vikes would be a much bigger problem. Hope is good for that game.
  2. I agree. He is not a whiner on the order of Brady (or Mac Jones) who is in a class by himself. He will lobby for a call when he gets hit late. All QBs do. They are taught to do that. On the other hand when he runs, he delivers blows and does not complain about the hits he takes.
  3. Beane has said exactly the same thing regarding OBJ before, several times. It is really up to OBJ at this point being able to demonstrate an ability to come back and play (and be productive) this year. I think that is a long shot.
  4. I like this move. He is definitely a step up in athleticism and potential over Hodgins who had pretty much topped out based on his limitations. Let's see what the Bills can do with him. Perhaps next year's training camp star?
  5. How do you figure he never got much of a shot here? The Bills kept him around through multiple injuries and kept giving him opportunities to make the roster as a contributing player. He never rose to the occasion. They very likely would have signed him back to the practice squad if he was not claimed, Giving him yet another opportunity. I wish him well with the Giants. He has a better chance there as they have an inferior roster.
  6. I listened to it and I would not infer that at all. A "vote of confidence MacKenzie" was not asked of him nor was slot WR even a topic of discussion.
  7. When he is healthy, he is every bit as good as Greg Rouuseau. This hardly puts Miami over the top or anything. Still 3 steps below the Bills. This poster is a Dolphins troll.
  8. You need not bother until after Thanksgiving at least. The soonest he could play is mid December and it is highly unlikely anyone will offer him a contract until he can demonstrate ability to play this year.
  9. I think this says more about Jaquan Johnson than it does about Poyer.
  10. Many people here seem to think managing a real NFL football team is just like fantasy football. It is not. In the case of Hockenson, why would a team that targets the TE less than any other in football trade anything for a TE who is perhaps marginally better than what they have?
  11. I think he was suggesting that if Moss received those carries in the 4th quarter, it would be because the Bills were blowing them out.
  12. Put on your tin foil hat and go back in the basement. Plenty of better conspiracy theories for you to investigate. This one is all in your head.
  13. I would be shocked at this point if Hackett makes it to the end of the season.
  14. Thanks for the thorough review. It sounds like an analysis filled with wishful thinking. I agree - those are the scenarios that would enable the Packers to compete, but not likely to happen.
  15. As soon as they stop insisting that Akers has any trade value.
  16. To some degree. I think some people are just miserable and want to drag other people into their misery. Some others love the role of contrarian because that way, if the worst happens, they can say they were right. As for me, I have been a fan of the Bills for 60 years. This is easily the best team and the best organization I have seen in all that time. They have not been perfect and I do not expect perfection in the future, but what they have already accomplished, and what they are capable of accomplishing, is very exciting. It may not work out the way we want. There are no guarantees and anything can happen, but I intend to enjoy this ride, however long it lasts and however it ends. That is after all what we boarded this Bills train for.
  17. It’s the Patriot Way.
  18. We have a winner! Seriously, people are greatly over estimating his potential value.
  19. Brady looks done to me. There is a noticeable drop in his skills last year to this that has nothing to do with team chemistry and injured receivers or whatever. He is done.
  20. Exactly. The giants are doing a great job of scheming around Jones weaknesses and taking advantage of his limited strengths, whiling relying on their best player, Saquan, to carry the day. I think Daboll is doing a fine coaching job, but this QB whisperer narrative is BS. He had limited role is the development of Josh Allen. He does know how to mold an offense around the skills of his players though.
  21. Well, I guess good for us then that he does not have much.
  22. I would not be surprised at at least 10, possibly 13 by game time. GB is awful.
