  1. I'm interested in hearing how this helped you. My Dad has Peripheral Neuropathy among other things, I don't think NYS has legalized it yet so it wouldn't be much good to him, but curious as to what worked in your case. Thanks.
  2. Only problem I had with last night's episode was how Jimmy was left to open and run the store completely on his own on his very first morning of employment. Loved seeing the crack in Mike's tough emotional exterior when he was fighting back crying during his daughter in law talking about his son. Those cousins are totally bad ass and I loved the ever so slight nod of appreciation one of them gave nacho after the compound raid
  3. I never see people without earbuds, I've actually started to not even have podcasts or music playing when I hike, the sounds of nature are better than anything I have in my playlist...what i do see far too often is people that think leash 'laws' don't apply to them on trails and in parks.
  4. My son qualifies for a Medical card here in the Philly suburbs, I am exploring the options to see if it really does have therapeutic benefits. I personally don't partake.
  5. I was at a Kinks show at the Aud in the early 80's, doubt it was that one as I was a mere Frosh at Fred St. in September 81....
  6. How long have you been on this board? You should know that someone has to piss in someone else's cornflakes...
  7. I listen to a lot of the podcasts from the "how Stuff Works" stable of podcasts, 'Stuff You Should Know' being my favorite. Mike Rowe has a very good 10 minute podcast that is very much in the vein of the Paul Harvey style.
  8. Turns out it wasn't so easy to learn https://tv.avclub.com/david-costabile-on-singing-and-memorizing-his-way-throu-1828478066?utm_medium=SocialMarketing&utm_campaign=SF&utm_source=Twitter&utm_content=Main
  9. Don't ignore Dead & Company, they are getting stronger each tour, sure it's not anywhere close to the same, but some is better than none, except of course herpes or cancer :-)
  10. oh i agree, memorizing song lyrics can be somewhat easy, but they had the song coming through the headphones so he had to sing it correctly, on tempo, and it's not like it's just song lyrics, it seemed to be the periodic table so some of those words are hard to pronounce.
  11. Crap, I peaked 5 years ago and didn't realize it....that's actually pretty sad looking back
  12. I'd like to know how long he worked at learning that song...that would be no easy feat AT all!!
  13. Coors Light? I'da jumped
  14. Holy crap...he looks totally badass!
  15. thank you, that's what i figured, but the business setting threw me off.
  16. a lot of TV guilty pleasures: Flea Market Flip, because of Lara Spencer's legs; Rehab Addict because of Nicole Curtis'....well, pretty much everything; Good Eats because I find Alton Brown hilarious; Finding Bigfoot mainly because Bobo is a such a Bozo too many others to list
  17. Completely forgot about the pill bottle toss, now it makes more sense. Sorry for being so aloof, but what was the scene where Nacho was waiting in the business as it opened, told the guy to keep the money, but then took it.....that wasn't his father, correct? it seemed like an auto mechanic, not an upholsterer...probably should have rewatched the previous season, but the new one completely crept up on me
  18. Can you kindly summarize the Nacho thing...i know he switched the pills, was that in defiance of Gus? How did Gus figure it out? When they were getting their 'cases' they demanded 6 not 5 because the Salamancas got 6 why shouldn't they, i got confused(which isn't difficult)
  19. Oh, Sweet Mama, Your Daddy's Got Them Deep Elem Blues.
  20. Isn't that one of the greatest things about music? People say music died long ago, but it didn't, there's soooooo much good/great music out there and it just takes us putting forth the effort to go seek it out. Music pushed on us via radio and other media isn't necessarily representative of what's really out there to listen to, it's simply music that caught the attention of an industry person that is more concerned about how much money it will bring in and not at the quality of the music and the musicians
  21. I actually just read something about that the other day, got distracted before digging deeper into it. Thanks for reminder and recommendation
