  2. He's gotta be messing with me, right???
  3. that's what they get paid to do, that's why she was there if i recall correctly, she was hired to strip. could be wrong but I am not going to check the details of the night in question. if she was hired as a stripper and DIDN'T take her clothes off, aka Strip, I'd want a refund.
  4. Perhaps you don't understand the job description for a stripper!
  5. FWIW, not a lot of buzz from local philly news outlets. They'd be all over this by now
  6. I don't have any sort of spiritual "tenacity" to participate any of this...my belief in the abstract just isn't strong enough and I have given up even trying to build that belief gene.
  7. I loved my wife when we got married. Wouldn't change that either. Any changes would affect everything good and bad I've gone through. I don't want to think about ending up with anything different. If I had to change anything I would change my attitude in general, no events.
  8. Cecily Strong as the "Girl You Wish You Hadn't Started a Conversation With at a Party" role
  9. I know. Who knows how Boogie will turn out post injury, McGee played the role VERY well. If he comes back in November and can get his legs/feet working, this team could be even more dominant than they were. It's gonna be fun to watch
  10. if it means i wouldn't have the same friends, kids etc, I wouldn't change a damn thing
  11. He doesn't have to be the same player, he just needs to be as good as JaVale McGee
  12. because there were different sounds that evolved and added new textures, personally, I think some of Brent Mydland years took it to another level. Sure there are dud years in there, but it's fun to listen to the different styles throughout the years.
  13. I am an absolute sucker for the heroin chic look....i suppose it's true that opposites attract....or at least one opposite is attracted to another....
  14. I'm sorry, i don't comprehend that bolded part
  15. Some municipalities get really anal about the shakedown scene, they aren't getting their tax cut so they don't allow or shut it down. When i first moved to Philly, i went to a futhur show at the Mann Center. The The philadelphia license and inspection 'cops' came through and shut down shakedown, it was really f***ing ridiculous. Since then, both in Camden(NJ) and S. Philly, shakedowns have been set up in full force and it's one of my favorite parts of the lot scene, even though I rarely buy anything.
  16. people have their own way of enjoying the experience, me personally...i try to get a photo as the band takes the stage and gets set, then i try to put my phone away. It does get annoying when people have their phone up the entire time taking video, but also, i love being able to find the video's on youtube, and sometimes catching some of the show through the other persons camera screen is a better visual than my 5-9" frame can see from my vantage. Unfortunately it's a part of the concert going experience and it's not going to change anytime soon.
  17. Saw them about a year ago at world Cafe and she was the same way. Neko Case 2 weeks ago also during 3 songbreaks chastised audience members for taking pictures/video. I get that they want peoples full attention, but come on. Deal with it
  18. The first one to retaliate, #11 for Pilapinas is Andray Blatche, pride of Henniger HS(Syracuse)
  19. Oh good lord, i fell in love with her on the Louis CK show....I want a Pamela in my life, as I am pretty damned close to Louis without the humor and money
