I was going to post this one last week....that smile of hers is killer...love the expression on her face when she meets that kid in the stroller.

But he is playing 48 minutes a game because they need him to. I think he is so overpowering and overwhelming with his talents that the play against him gives the illusion he makes players better. I am NOT taking anything away from how awesome he is.... There's just something stuck in my 'craw' that doesn't believe he improves the players around him.

As good/great as Lebron is, do you think he makes his teammates better? I contend that he is that good that he doesn't but gives the appearance he does. He draws double and triple teams most of the times which leaves his teammates more open to make shots, drive, pass etc... Asking because there is speculation that he has some passing interest in philly, and vice versa(moreso), and I think he would destroy the skills and playing ability of the young guns like Embiid, Fultz, Simmons, TLC, Saric, Korkmaz(potentially). Lebron is capable of taking a team of 5 me's and him and making it deep into a playoff run, i don't think he makes those around him better. Thoughts?

Saw Courtney Barnett last week, she is such a dynamic performer....in my opinion, one of the best things to happen to music in a very long time...she is like today's version of Lou Reed and Patty Smith, great songwriting skills, similar vocal stylings, I've been a big fan of hers for a few years...her wife Jen Cloher is putting out some equally great music as well

Jason Isbell is another outstanding performance. Glad he was able to clean up his act, but damn, could you imagine DBT's if he was still with them? What a potentially historic band they could have been
